one of my new favs. awesome food, great staff! just try it and see for yourself!!!
need help deciding what to get, just ask the staff. they have great recommendations for first timers. and the cucumbers in the sauce are amazing! it's served with most meals. this place is a must go!

always good service and good food. very authentic korean menu. hot foods are wonderful and cooled dishes are even better. easy to find, hard to forget. pretty much eat there on a regular basis

we ate there last night after reading the reviews. it was awful! so disappointing. vegetables were shredded and overcooked, meat was overcooked and flavorless, brown rice was like glue. they seated us right next to the kitchen, and they then mopped the floor with some powerful cleaning fluid, and the fumes were coming it's. we got up and paid and left immediately. as we passed other tables, they were struggling with the smell too. told the employees about the smell and they did not even respond. i do not understand all of the glowing reviews. my advice would be to keep on driving.

stumbled upon this hidden gem of yakima and have not been able to stop coming back! the food is dangerously good with the friendliest of service. the menu is filled with authentic korean dishes that leave you satisfied and full everytime! there is a variety of korean bbq style meats that come out sizzling to the table, and plenty of broths and soups that can awaken the taste buds. everything comes out in a timely fashion so that you can either stop in on your lunch break, or have a nice dinner with your family. i can't say enough about this place. have yet to try anything on the menu i haven't liked! the food will have you addicted!

great food, great people. love this place. super friendly staff, awesome food, reasonable prices! what else do you want. it, for me, is the best restaurant in yakima and offers actual authentic korean food, cooked by koreans. we have tried about 6 different things off the menu to date and they were all delicious.

thank you joy garden!

we will be back, and often.

just got done with my yummy soup from joy garden! it helped me with my sinuses! and made me feel really happy, their food is sooooooo refreshing!

just got back from joy garden and loved it! i think that the chef's should be on iron chef they r so good at cooking!

can't wait to go to joy garden tomorrow for my sister's birthday! it is such a good atmosphere with the friendly service and really really good food!

best food in yakima. we eat here a couple times a month and never had a bad experience ever.
food is outta this world and when you get it to go you get some pretty big portions. its our favorite and its healthy.

i eat here frequentley for both lunch and dinner the prices are resonable and the food is always prepared to my liking. i have tried almost half the menu and the staff is always willing to suggest something new. what i like is the food is prepared fresh to order. for a nice change i suggest you give joy garden a try.

the pleasence of joy garden. my friend introduced me to joy garden, and told me she had discovered it after a bad break up, and that the food always made her feel better. after eating there up to 6 times, and most of those visits being consecutive every week, a big deal because i have to drive from ellensburg if i want to go, i can say she is right. when i leave this restaurant i have an absolute sense of well being. the food is all amazing, my favorite is the pork bulgogi, and it is all reasonably priced which is a big deal because i am a college student. i love this place! this is the only place i have ever been to, where i am not afraid to order something new!

love love love. my son and i go every wednesday. they always remember what appetizers that we want. love the staff. love the menu. will go here till i die lol. love the owner she is awesome. i cant say anything bad about this menu. i love the fact that you can bbq at the table. a unique experience. just try it once and you will keep coming back . i love her kimchi

the worst service. came on a saturday night. took over 25 minutes to take our order. a waitress came over and would ask us if we wanted to order or want water and then walk away. they were all running around like no one knew what was going on. when our food arrived our fried rice tasted like a salt lick and our beef was over cooked. even the kids said never again!!!!

best asian food in yakima!. i have found myself working my way down the menu.
the food never has tasted bad. i always found myself driving away happy. the owners are very kind and even remembered my name after 3 months from my last visit. also, the side dishes are the best!

if you like korean food, quality service, and reasonable prices--- try this stop on your next big date.

new favorite. my coworkers and i just discovered joy garden a few months ago, but since that time, we've been going there about once a week. there are a number of great things on the menu. my favorite item is yuk gae jang, a spicy shredded beef soup with scallions, bean sprouts and vegetables. its perfect on rainy days or when i'm fighting a cold. other amazing options are their pork bulgogi and chap chae. yum!

great asian cuisine. this was my first time at this place. the decor is not what i would expect for a korean bbq. the dinning area is intimate. there are booths along one wall made of hardwood and has a burnt finish along with the walls is trimmed out with burnt pine as well. i could see the sloppy slaw in this place.

the owner is real nice she treated us with great respect and made some excellent recommendations on alternate dishes. since two of them were not available at the time.

i wish i could tell you what we ordered but i would not be able to spell it correctly. i will go back there and try the bbq next time.
