the waffle guy. breakfast, saturday mornings going on 20 some odd years now. blueberries, real maple syrup, a decent cup of coffee, (a choice of two) and the daily paper, plus deb's smiling face and unbound-less energy. about that waffle, 90% of the time it's perfect cooked to perfection, tender with that yeast flavor. a couple of times a new cook will overdo it and i've had deb grab it from underneath my waiting mouth to return it to the kitchen with a few choice words of wisdom and warnings to that unfortunate soul. quality control is pretty good. tried a couple of other waffle's around this town just recently. ain't none better. the ambiance for sleepyeyed early risers like me the best. love the fresh fruit when in season.
