hip place for great crepes. i went to jobot after arriving at the airport at midnight. i didn't want to fill my body with absolute crap and my wife found that this place was rated well and was open late. i'd give it 5.1 out of 5 stars. i had a fabulous roasted turkey crepe, which was savory, and soooooooo what i needed at the time. my wife had a sweet crepe and it was also super tasty. i had a latte that was, not unexpectedly, also really good. great little neighborhood too.

funky addition. we walked down to the shop for our second visit. the welcome was delayed and generic, same as the first visit. as i am a fan of old i immediately took to the space. behind the counter could use a cleaning. i hope the kitchen does not reflect the same. there is seating at the counter and two two tops inside, tables outside under new canopies and misters.
we had cappuccino and crepes. the cappuccino was ok, a lot of milk over powered the espresso. the crepes were good, ingredients were fresh. the crepes were more on the hard side but not too much, which i don't mind.
after we got home we realized we were overcharged a few bucks. next time we will pay more attention.
the shop was busy. we love the new addition to the neighborhood and wish them much success. we want to frequent and support them but the hospitality needs some work. love and invite in all your neighbors not just the ones that fit the mold.

great for beer and coffee - and good food, too

i happened upon jobot by serendipity while visiting phoenix, and am glad that i found them. they offer both coffee and craft beer, and i partook of the latter. they offer an impressive selection of craft beer, emphasizing brews from around arizona. i later went back with some friends and partook of their food, which i found very tasty and enjoyable. if you need to take the edge off arizona's heat, drop in for a cold one - and maybe a meal.

limited menu, looked like a nice place, with a hoping crowd, but i decided to skip it when i noticed the sticker on the pole next to the cash register disparaging president trump (in spanish). i’ll spend my money elsewhere and continue to support my president.

i love this place, it's hit its urban its me. they've added some things to their menu that i haven't tried and today i tried it, loved the green white chile cheese fries, delish! i also myself got a chai latte iced with almond milk pretty awesome chai here folks. service was awesome matched the environment and feel but very friendly! with my chai i got a savory crepe for breakfast cause i was craving it! and i got the number 2, it had chorizo mozzarella topped with a n over easy egg i think! it was fantastic i loved it! i definitely would recommend all my friends and future friends here! especially if you are in the downtown roosevelt area! plus it's all local which i love!

i come for the crepes, specifically the chorizo crepe it's so delicious! i've had a chai latte which was pretty basic and the iced coffee isn't anything special, good though.

i don't understand phoenix. the downtown high rise area looks completely sterile even though it contains a university which traffic zips through as though it wasn't there. then without transition, there are empty lots and a smattering of rundown one story homes. jobot is in one them. across the street, eclectic lawn gnome books occupies another house. a couple of artist galleries and art studios round out the area. culture's last stand i suppose. it reminds me of the photos of dubai where camel races are being held only a short distance from 100 story skyscrapers.

anyway, about jobot. the coffee was fresh; the iced lattes were decent. i tried a crepe and that too was good. an interesting set of people came through over a couple hour period. it's one of the better places to hangout.

most of the reviews on yelp have something to so with either a long wait time or some kind of comment on feeling ignored. i have never personally had a problem with this but can see how a customer would feel that way. i think most people are mistaking the employees relaxed attitude and concern with not making the customers not want to feel rushed in and out of there as bad customer service. i hate when i go into places and feel like the staff just want me to order and get the hell out. if you're expecting to jog in and jog out, this probably isn't your kind of spot. this also kind of depends on the time of day you go. if it's after 5pm, expect to wait- especially on first or third friday. mornings are usually faster paced, but still they're not going to hurry you into making a decision or even paying quickly. the crepes are good, and i hear now you can get any of the ingredients in three soft tacos or on a salad. the coffee/espresso is a cartel custom roast, rich and creamy. bottom line, it's a great little addition to downtown.
