we cannot always go by the ambience if the food is not up to the mark. we had gone there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and had ordered doppio balls 2 portions, fries 2 portions, pizza ( 4 ) and dessert. for the dough balls they did not have the pesto sauce. so they gave garlic sauce. it wasn't enough and i had asked for another sauce. they said it was chargeable. ridiculous!! first they dont have the pesto and when they have another sauce they could have given another sauce as requested. the sauce bowls are really tiny and those dough balls cost was 39 dhs. how is really comparable with the price ?? they serve alcohol and good pizza but they are pricey too. it's just the alcohol and the ambience or we should think about the food and the quantity served also !!

did the brunch option at pizza express, raman was our server and he could not have done more. he was so so friendly. food was so good, table was never empty. fav was pillows and dough balls 👌

i went for iftar yesterday. but the service was so slow. and it was very slow for us, people who were fasting. we had to ask them to take our order. we had to ask them to bring dates, they brought it after the prayer had already begun.
while they kept serving drinks and food to other non-fasting people, which i have no problem with. however , they should have shown more attentiveness and care towards people who were actually there to open their fast.
had to ask them twice to turn off the music during isha prayer time.

the food was delicious as always.
great value for your money.

best part was the outdoor seating during winter. nice place to catch up with friends and family. the portion sizes were generous. service time was longer than expected considering the time was not busy. quality of food was decent too and prices are higher than standard but its worth it.
