modern touch to abeachshack. nice interiors, simple but elegant decor. sustainable setup.

staff - extremely polite and friendly. they tell you what go expect from a dish while ordering which i felt was a nice touch to great service

food - menu is mostly modern touch of various cuisines across india. not a place if you are looking for local goan food. having said that food is delicious and quantity is sufficient.

presentation: plating is creative, simple, clean and elegant. makes the food look inviting and appeals to your visual senses

service: service is quick, staff is courteous and knowledgeable

all is all a great place to eat for anyone looking for a modern twist to food e.g as deconstructed serra dura or dry falooda made of avacado kulfi or red rice rissotto and so on

i had one restaurant option to pick in south goa. cavatino was already booked, so it was between martin’s corner and jamming goat. as i had already been to martins corner we decided to try out jamming goat. i am glad to say we did not regret it.

we ordered several starters and two main course items. in general the starters seem more innovative than the main course items. we ordered

chicken tacos
prawn rava fry
shrimp aglio oglio
quesadillas

all of these were good, with excellent presentation. the tacos were the best.

for main course we ordered
chicken breast
junglee maas

both were average fare but very much enjoyable.

with a beautifulbeachside setting this restaurant deserves a visit if you are in south goa.

a paradise described in simple words at follows:

1. comfort food with a twist at the right prices (it's basically art that you eat) 😋
2. soul spa 🌸
3. beautiful views and serenity 🏖️
4. courteous staff who will go out of the way to help you around the menu and anything else 😇
5. amazing drinks (do try their 1986 ... it's a punch with a spicy twist and also their not a g&t ... amongst other fabulous mixes they have)🍹
6. must go to place 🚗
7. music that's the right vibe to enjoy and regain your energy 🎶

take some time off your busy goa parties schedule to visit this place located in the quaint surroundings and shores of utorda. you will definitely not regret the food, fun and the beautiful sunset 🌅 as well as the peace of the moonlitbeach🎴.

absolutely loved this place. while there's no shortage of places in goa, this one stood out for me. recommended by a friend and food blogger, the ambiance set the mood as soon as we walked in. it's not one of those huge places where u feel lost, waiting for the staff to notice you and serve you. it's big enough, yet cozy. close to thebeachyet comfortable in its own nook. we had the mushrooms with parmesan, the beef wok and pork cafreal. the first were amazing while the cafreal was a bit underwhelming. the owner/partner varuna was very accepting of the feedback on the cafreal. he also ensured we were comfortable and were served well. the cocktails were brilliant and their famous 'pickle back' shot is a must try. totally worth visiting this place. my friends have already been here thrice and i'm sure i will come back here when i'm in goa next. also, their tres leches is to die for!

on a balmy goa afternoon we sat down to lunch in the very pleasant garden of the jamming goat restaurant right next to uttordabeachand just went to food heaven. their menu is varied and brings together elements of goan and other south indian cuisines beautifully and presents it in a modern way. we tried the chorizo stuffed nuns, which were like flavour punched version of quesadilla, the special prawn curry (more kerala style than goan, tasty nonetheless), and the sea bass baked in banana leaf. the fish was do fresh and perfectly cooked smothered in spices. a whole post can be written about the dessert we tried.... their version of the goan/portuguese dessert serradura. the fresh cream globe was served with a base of grape pulp and fresh fruits scattered on top. i dont think i have tasted anything like it before... it's a must try.
the service was friendly, if somewhat inexperienced in terms of knowledge of the menu.... but this place deserves to become the food and sundowner hotspot of south goa.
