let’s start the feasting with something you enjoy eating as well as giving: thebreadbox and wine-to-go. thebreadboxes contain either the tuscan or foccaccia (or a combination of both) with the popular olive oil and vinaigrette, and tied very elegantly. and who wouldn’t love a bottle of wine to go with it? italiannis offers quality wines to suit your discerning taste. some branches offer dulce de leche boxes, one whole creamy cake that comes with an extra caramel sauce.

italiannis also offers dine out delights - salads, appetizers, chicken, pork, fish, pastas, and other signature dishes for 6 to 8 persons available in nifty to-go trays. get yourself some spinach artichoke, fried calamari, prosciutto e formaggio, italianni’s fritti, italian truffle fries, sicilian salad, caesar salad, and insalata rucola.

there is a pasta selection you can take out with you too, including lasagna, spaghetti meatballs, spaghetti pomodoro, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, seafood cioppino, and penne arrabiata. mains include chicken italianni’s, porkchop au poivre, chicken milanese, chicken parmigiana, herb roasted chicken and parmesan crusted fish fillet.

if you want to sit down and have a special lunch dinner with your loved ones and friends, the special holiday platters are reason enough to indulge. mix and match two appetizers, two pasta dishes and one entrée for a reasonable price. have yourself a merry little feast with classic italiannis favorites such as frito misto, spaghetti meatballs abondanza, and chicken and ribs platter. or you may opt for crostini platter (which includes tomato bruschetta, mushroom bruschetta, and liver pate), chicken and ribs platter, and the salmon linguini abondanza.

for less than p800.00 i enjoyed a platter of roasted chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5, braised beef ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5, aglio olio spaghetti ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 and complimentarybreadwith olive oil, balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 plus a green tea latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 at the end of my meal at @italiannisph #italiannisph restaurant.

while waiting for our lunch, complimentarybreadwith olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip were served to us. thebreadis just as good the way i remember it from four years ago. it has a very crunchy crust yet it’s very moist inside.

i decided to have baked ziti. the penne pasta was cooked al dente, just the way i like it. i could taste the distinct flavors of the italian sausage. though i like pasta dishes with ground beef, the smoky flavor of sausages takes anything a notch higher. the baked ziti of italianni’s is perfectly seasoned. i loved how the melted mozzarella cheese sticks to the pasta. the combination of parmesan and mozzarella cheese fueled up all my senses.

the grilled pork chop is served with vegetables, black peppercorn sauce, fried spinach and garlic rice. as juice flows out of the meat, i knew at that moment that this pork chop is different. i also loved the peppery flavor of both the pork chop and the sauce. the garlic rice isn’t oily which is an added point for us. even the vegetables were perfect!

favorite italian place. for starters, a basket of focaccia and tuscanbreadwith infused evoo, balsamic vinegar and freshly grated parmesan cheese becomes a staple. order some antipasto, fried calamari is the best with the marinara sauce. then order some caesar salad for a lighter start. have some spaghetti a la mariniere or spaghetti and meatballs, quattro formaggio or pizza enorme, chicken parmegiana... finish is with a serving of creme brulee... definitely a good way to celebrate with family at italianni's ermita! 😍

about three weeks ago, i had a lunch meeting at italianni’s robinson’s place branch. although italianni’s has been in operation for how many years already, this is only the second time i was able to dine here (and the first time for this branch).

italianni’s is located just outside the mall area (midtown wing, ground level). its interior is nicely decorated with photos and paintings; wooden tables and furnishings were simple but elegant. but even if it was peak time, only about four tables were occupied.

a complimentary basket of freshly baked tuscan and foccaciabreadpaired with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was served first.

for starters, we ordered sicilian chicken salad. it is chicken breast, romaine lettuce, ripe mangoes, red grapes and walnuts in anchovy dressing. it is creamy and filling (generous amounts of chicken!).

and of course, we had the highly recommended spinach and artichoke formaggio (php 695 abbondanza). this one is spinach, artichoke and mushroom in a creamy blend of cheeses served with toasted garlic bread. it tastes so good that when i remembered to take a photo of it, it was all gone!

for the main dish, we tried the farmer’s bundle consisting of choice of aglio spaghetti or spaghetti pomodoro (we chose pomodoro), herb roasted spring chicken and baby back ribs. the pomodoro has a light, spicy olive oil-garlic taste. the tender ribs has a really tasty barbeque sauce while the roasted chicken just tasted okay. though, i must say that i find the serving size for this bundle too small.

for the drinks, we tried their berry dalandan and lymonada. lymonada is just like the usual lemonades in other fine dining restaurants but the sweetness of strawberry and sourness of dalandan makes berry dalandan unique and refreshing.

food is of good quality and has that authentic italian taste. plus, they have a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. service is good also, but prices are quite expensive.
