extensive asian menu in barrie. atmosphere: the dark brown decor was inviting. i'd say even the manilla paper used on the tables makes it unique. there was a sushi bar in the dining area where the chef worked.

service: we were one of 2 tables at the time so the server got to us fast. she was nice and gave us time to peruse the huge menu.

food:
the extensive menu had chinese, thai and japanese items. it will take you a while to decide. it would be awesome if they had vietnamese pho too to complete their menu.
we tried the:
dim sum platter - not that great. seemed to be small frozen dim sum bought from a store. now, for dim sum isbarrieit was a welcome sight.
seafood delight noodles - you get a choice of noodles here. we chose the shanghai noodles. the broth was plain tasting, but light. the seafood seemed to come from frozen as they were small and dry.
ling's tofu hotpot - excellent flavour. light enough to bring out the flavor of the ingredients. the sauce was uneven as there were curds in some parts.

overall: a great addition to barrie. i hope that they use fresher ingredients considering the price we pay. having such an extensive menu doesn't make up for the average food.
