my girlfriend and i were looking for a really nice spot for a special occasion we were celebrating and we really did find one in insignia prime steak and sushi.
for starters as soon as we arrived there we were greeted by a very friendly staff who immediately catered to our drink needs. the friendly waitress always had a smile on her face and making us feel very welcome with friendly conversation. the wine we ordered (don't remember exactly what kind we ordered) was absolutely delicious. very fine and aged wine. this initial experience here already left a good impression on us. but it was about to get ten times better.
now we get to the entrees (we skipped appetizers). for dinner i had ordered one of the specials which was a beautifully cooked barramundi fish with a sweet potatoe purée and delectable brussels sprouts. my girlfriend had ordered a cooked to perfection 14 oz filet mignon with a side a garlic mashed potatoes. it was safe to say this meal blew us away with how amazing everything tasted. the prices were obviously very expensive but in all seriousness you definitely get what you pay for.
insignia prime steak and sushi is a great place to go for special occasions because of the price range but it's worth it. we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have an extravagant dinner with their significant other.

omg! great room! great service! great food! filet and creamed spinach both outstanding, as was the black forest desert. expensive, yet worth it! i'll be back!

a spa for the belly. the evening started at the bar when i ordered a mojito. the drink came tasting off. i thought it was a lack of rum. the bar tender eagerly added more rum and didn’t charge me for it. unfortunately the drink still tasted off. one of the ingredients was off and i still can’t figure out what it was. maybe the club soda was flat. anyway, the bar tenders were all very nice and eager to serve. we moved to our table where i proceeded to review their wine list. it’s an amazing list however a few notables from australia were absent such as mollydooker but there was good representation from france and california. we ordered our apps (oysters and some kind of tuna carpaccio). these came back fresh and tasty. i ordered the sweet and spicy cocktail which was the most creative thing i had the entire night. next up were the mains. i ordered a 22oz bone in rib steak and with cheese mac and my date ordered the 2lb lobster with sautéed spinach. i heard no complaints about the mains from my date. my steak was perfectly cooked and tasty along with the glass of dominus. there was nothing wrong with the steak however for the total cost of the meal, the main should have been memorable. the cheese macs were also a little blan. at the end of it all when we were considering desert, the wait staff brought out a desert sampler that were compliments of the chef. i was impressed to say the least. the deserts were 2 donuts, the peanut butter mousse bombe, and double crusted cheese cake. the service was overall amazing. we ended up back at the bar where we were one of the last people to leave. upon existing the building my car was waiting for me right outside the front door. that was a very pleasant first. overall i was pampered and it’s nice to be pampered when you view fine dining as a spa for the belly. that’s what insignia is, a spa for the belly. i will go back again but next time try something other than the steak.

yes, worth a try!. this is a popular restaurant for business lunches or dinners. i have been dining at one of their other restaurants blackstone’s since it was first established. i usually order their porterhouse for two which is my favorite steak at this restaurant .they also have very good sushi as well. they also have an outdoor/indoor part of the restaurant that is worth the visit. on wednesdays they have half off bottles of wine above $100.00. they carry top label wines, but also small production quality wines. the entire staff is excellent and they provide a pleasant dining experience. the sommelier, jake, is a very knowledgeable professional. you must ask for him if you want to enjoy a great bottle of wine.

phenomenal sushi and filet mignon. absolute best service, wine list on ipads...amazing!!! been here several times and we can't wait to go back. beautiful bar and restaurant.

we were not impressed. perhaps it was an off night... it started with the music. live performer, quite loud, and not our taste. we were seated near a speaker so we couldn't escape it. the music was lowered when we asked, but it never stopped. we were given menus and asked for our water pref which we we waited 10 mins for. drinks came quickly after we ordered them, but we were not told about specials. overall, food was good, not great, and pricey. spicy lobster roll (8 pcs) cost $35 and was just okay. we both ordered meat medium rare and both arrived cooked too much. we were not checked on after appetizers were cleared and couldn't ask about wine with dinner until dinner was served. a great deal on wines over $100 (half price),but we had to wait for the sommelier to bring it while our dinners were sitting there. our main waitress was pleasant and seemed to be trying, but we'd rate the service, and our experience overall, as fair. they just didn't seem to have their act together; it's unlikely we'll return.

the food is good. the bartenders were not and neither was the service! we had reservations at 8, and watches as the couple next to use got aware first. their reservations were for 830! the supervisors lie and don't appreciate waiting for an hour when we've ha reservations for days! really upsetting as this place used to be great!

ba-bam!!! now you’ve got the modern-day steakhouse…or sushi and steakhouse…or thursday night mea(e)t-market…or glorified venue for refurbished surf and turf. whatever you want to call it, it’s a successful formula for merging the old favorites of steak and seafood in a trendy new fashion.
