infusions - chocolate redefined

amazing hot chocolate especially their european hot chocolate is the thickest i had in coimbatore .. their flourless chocolate cake is also great.. nice cozyplaceto dine in…

this is a tough review. so, i'll start with my first impression. theplacelooked so pretty from the outside. it's set in a calm locality and there is a serenity around that makes it a.perfect spot. the inside is the right amount of cold with an amazing aroma of chocolate up our nostrils.
now to the food. we ordered a four cheese pizza and a dark chocolate mousse. the pizza tasted too good. it was beautifully cheesy and had a thin crust. but, it was extremely tiny and by, tiny i mean smaller than the standard small pizza. the mousse tasted very nice except for the odd cherry on top which, for me, overpowered the chocolate. the quantity, once again, was too less. it costed us rs. 248 for these two. and though the price seems less we were no were near satisfied.
the service is great and the staff were extremely friendly.
overall, the taste is very good but, the quantity is too less for the price. it's worth a couple of visits.

we went here last thursday afternoon for desserts and ended up spending 4-5 hours here!!
it was my birthday and thanks for making it memorable! :)

it's located in the road connecting tharakram silk house and ramar kovil in ramnagar.

initially we were clueless on what to order. thanks to the service person there ( sorry i forgot to ask your name !) who was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. she even described each dish and explained on how the chocolates were made. bonus fact : they do not use white sugar in any of their dishes, instead they use palm sugar. and they have a great boutique of chocolates !

we ordered the sinful indulgence, flourless fantasy, hazel berry cheese cake , high on anandamide, french fries, cocktail idles, garlic and mushroom pizza and a mango milkshake.

->sinful indulgence is a three layer dessert with hotchocolate at the bottom, brownie in the middle, and vanilla ice cream at the top. it was also topped with almonds. and was served with a cookie. this one was the best of the lot and i loved every inch of it. their chocolate is addictive in taste!!
->the flourless fantasy was also a great one with the cake tasting extra ordinary. it was made without any flour and still the cake was great in taste.

->i did not taste the hazel berry cheesecake but my friend said it tasted amazing as well.

-> high on anandamide - chocolate bomb with hot chocolate poured over, this dessert tasted amazing!

initially we went here only for desserts, since we liked the place, we ended up spending more time here.

we ordered the fries, cocktail idlies and a garlic, mushrooms pizza.

fries was good and was served with chipotle sauce, i guess . it tasted good.

pizza was thin crust with the amount of mushrooms and garlic in the right quantity. i loved it. note that the pizza size is small.

cocktail idlies - deep fried mini idlies topped with cocoa and molaga podi, along with tomato chutney. this tasted more like a homemade dish and worth tasting. nothing extra ordinary but love the idea. didn't feel the taste of cacao though.

mango milkshake was a little average and it ended up being too sweet.

theplacehas a great ambiance and very well lit. the decors were also very well done.

overall it costed around 1300 for four of us. i would say it was completely worth it. will visit again for sure! :)

the portions are too little for the price they are charging. absolutely overpriced. please ignore thisplaceif ur planning to have good food.

while theplaceboasts several authentic cocoa options, as i came solo the staff was courteous enough to assist me in choosing . i ended up choosing sinful indulgence. no regrets there at all as the and product was an amalgamation of vennila ice cream cocoa brownie and heaps chocolate sauce and so many more which i didn't know what 😎.

the price -₹240 , but the quantity was lit , if you are not a chocolate lover i would recommend this to share with a friend else you’d be fine.

would give 4/5 for everything; presentation, staff food and ambience.

oh and i forgot to add that big cookie that they added, nice crunchy stuff without too much sugar , made my day .

dark and divine mouse is for absolute hardcore chocolate lovers, with 88% dark choc with vanilla ice cream it's a delight served right down your throat .

love love thisplacefor their desserts and pizza's. the hot chocolate is to die for. most of their desserts are made using pure bean to bar chocolates.

tasted extraordinarily good.

also had their sinful indulgence, vanilla milkshake and frozen hot chocolate milkshake.

the brownie in the sinful indulgence wasn't upto mark and the vanilla ice cream and milkshake were average

a must visitplacein coimbatore. i visited infusions with a friend of mine, we first tried their hot chocolates and truffles. omg!! they were truly yumm! even chocolate haters will start loving chocolates.. it was that good.
also this time they had some new products in their menu so just thought of trying that too.. it was their crunchy paneer burger which was actually huge and i have never tasted such a good quality burger anywhere, worth for what u pay!! finally nobody can leave thisplacewithout having their 4 cheese pizza 🍕

not going to lie, not sure what people see in thisplaceto give high ratings other than their hot chocolate .

here’s a list of things i tried ,
✔️thin crust pizzette - far from a pizza experience . the crust was chewy and not so fun to eat. 2/5 🔴
✔️ paneer grilled sandwich - 4/5 🟢
✔️ naughty nachos - plain old doritos with too much toppings . way less nachos with more okay tasting sauce over it. 2/5 🔴
✔️ cacao mac & cheese (cheesy) - regular mac and cheese with the cacao bits here and there. 3/5 🟠
✔️ authentic european hot chocolate - loved this 5/5 🟢
✔️ single origin hot chocolate - they said it’s 80% cocoa and this was amazingly dark! 5/5 🟢👏🏼
✔️ forbidden bean -if you are looking forward to try just one item then go for this . we could’nt even finish 30% of it (four of us) after eating all the above, we simply were high on chocolate and couldn’t get through with this one or enjoy it . i suggest ordering something else. since we couldn’t finish this, i got the bean (chocolate shaped bean) packed to home and melted them and had it, which was more fun! wouldn’t recommended this. 🔴

couldn’t enjoy regular cafe items much at thisplace, while their hot chocolates were absolutely delicious . if you are going to visit , just visit them for their hot chocolate .

this is a fantasticplacefor chocolate addicts!! we will get a feel of tasting chocolates from different part of the world. we would never get bored of having yummy varieties of chocolates which we wouldn’t have tasted it before. apart from chocolates they have other europian and continental dishes which is delicious as well

sometimes, the most unexpected decisions can bring about most pleasant experiences in life. infusions, theplacecaught my eye on my way to my lunchplace" sree vidya meals room" in coimbatore. the facade was attractive and i mentally bookmarked that if i have the time before my return flight, i should check thisplaceout. incidentally, i met the owner of infusions, mr. arun vishwanathan, the young entrepreneur at the lunchplaceand after a small chat it was decided that my friend and me will try to drop in and check their offerings.

i think it was the best spontaneous decision of that day. infusions is more than just a chocolate lover's paradise. it's a chocolate connoisseur's dream paradise. in this bean to bar chocolate bar😬 rare combinations like raw mango and chilli chocolate, beetroot halwa chocolate, moringa & lemon white chocolate etc are not only mind boggling but they are palate tickling also. got to taste a few of them and i must say, i'm more than impressed. i'm now a fan of the place. oh! did i mention that their mango lassi chocolate is an award winning product? and, just half way through your first bite you'll know why it won so many accolades. chitra'm is the brand name of their chocolate range.

along with a few product that i tasted, i tried alphonso mango & green chilli (₹42) and filter coffee (₹42) from their display. but, what stole the show (personally) for me is their cacao dalliance (₹200). a mouthful from the slab of cold chocolate ganache along with the vanilla ice cream would leave you with heavenly taste. and, the crunch from nuts is a value add. totally paid ₹335 for these.

i left theplacewith a heartache that i couldn't try their hot chocolate as i was already tooooo full from the heavy lunch and chocolate overdose.

infusions is aplacein coimbatore which has a chocolatier. the exclusive chocolate have a delicious taste. there is always something for everyone here. they over food as well, but theplaceis better known for their chocolates and desserts. some of their desserts ( high on anandamide) includes a show of the hot chocolate being poured over a chocolate shell and this just increases ones appetite! aplacethat’s close to home as well so there is a soft spot for it in my heart!

niceplaceto have your chocolate cravings fulfilled. amazing pizza and sandwich. they serve more than 20 variety of hot chocolate. there desserts options is also fantastic. location is amazing in the heart of the city and ample parking for offer.
