there was alot of mouth publicity about this place, so it was definately in my to do list. mehrangarh view with all the colour full light was the usp of this place, where else it was not functional due to covid.

food seems to be average and bit over priced. staff and service was nice. ambience of this place was amazing with theforton one side and lake on another. you need to choose your table wisely. it's suggested to pre book your table as most of the times this place is full.

rooftop and ambiance is expected to be good whenfortlights are on. all staffs look novice. food is average. even though everything else is allowed in jodhpur after covid-19 lockdown, for some reason lighting forforthas still not been started. so, main advantage of this restaurant, the ambiance is not available, without that it's just another average restaurant but with expensive menu. looks like they are waiting for international tourists only.

a good place right in the middle of old jodhpur city and in the foothills of mehrangarhfortand providing stunning views of thefortbut definitely overhyped for its food which was definitely medicore (not bad but nothing to write home about).

would have rated four stars but had a really dirty washroom which was a big turn off and we had to leave the dinner mid way due to this. should take care of these basic hygiene especially considering that its in the premises of a hotel.

must visit when in jodhpur. the view of lighted meherangadh and click tower while having dinner isn't worth a miss. we ordered veg tikka platter, onion jeera rice, dal tadka, french fries and curd for a group of 4adults and 1 child. the food was very tasty. but, the portion sizes are huge (4 each of seekh kabab, hara bhara kebab, paneer and mushroom tikka in the platter) so be careful of over ordering.
couple of points to note- book in advance otherwise u won't get a place to sit. the service can be slow as the place is fully packed even on weekdays. wait and enjoy the ambience, however, thefortis lit up only till 9pm, so make sure to go early for a lit view.
overall a place with a visit definitely when in jodhpur

pal haveli is one among the many old heritage havelis in jodhpur converted for commercialization with hotel and restaurant. after all jodhpur was and is all about heritage and history.

the place is beautiful and it has a restaurant named indique and thats the roof-top. from the very top you can see the mehrangarhfortin its full glory. at night it looks like in gold. what an amazing sight it is. you can also see the ghanta ghar/clock tower too.

we had kids with us so we choose the inner seating so that if at all they run around they would be indoors. first the manager was reluctant to give us inner seating but upon insisting he gave us the seats.

we ordered north indian food. dal, paneer, mixed sabji, masala papad, roasted papad, roti, naan and a mixed platter starter. starters came a but late but then everything else was coming fast enough. the food was great and even the service was good. we liked our food and time spent here.

now coming to the part of which i am still angry about. the reputations are built in years and crushed in seconds. seems they behave like seasons. just because there is incoming of too many foreign tourists you won't allow indians in the top most roof top is the most hateful thing you can do. why wouldn't you give us the table even after it being empty. as we entered (10.10.2019) we asked for a table upstairs on the top most roof top but were straight off denied saying they were reserved. we were there for one and a half hours and we went upstairs 3 times. one at the very start after our seating indoors. then in between and then while leaving. on all our 3 checking we see that 4 tables including one big table were empty all the time. it just was just reserved tagged all time. we left at 10.15 pm and according to zomato and google it was supposed to close at 11.00 pm. now were they waiting for the prime minister to come to them at this hour. i am still trying to understand why they denied us. this is the first time ever i felt like shit. i was with family and friends or else i would have taken each one there to task. this is simply not acceptable.

this has become a norm. we indians do not love each other in our own country. things and places are good but we people make them bad. just like the manager of the restaurant here at pal haveli. i wonder what mindset he was in he simply killed the good vibes we had upon entering the property. it is because of people like him things and places get a bad name.

anyways for once to visit the haveli and its aura it is a must visit. also for the food one can visit. when in jodhpur you should visit this.

celebrated my birthday eve there. only reason to go there was the view and indeed it was mesmerising. had booked table two days prior so that i can getfortview table and yes they provided the same. one of the best places in town with amazing ambience and option for alcohol. tried their veg lemon & coriander soup, veg platter & red wine. veg platter was so heavy that i couldn’t try main course! but a bit high end & service was kind of slow. must try place in jodhpur.

a beautiful place to have dinner at. the ambience is lovely, the crowd always cheerful and the staff very kind. the view to thefortis breathtaking and the food was oh so delightful. i would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting jodhpur. would love coming back here again.

location is very good. one can enjoy the scenic view of mehrangarhfortalong with having dinner. but taste of food won't appeal you if u are looking for great taste

the place is beautiful. its amidst the sadar bazaar. part of a 19th century haveli called the pal haveli. it offers a spell binding view of the mehrangarhfortfrom the roof top. the food is really and people serve with a big smile.

too many recommendations and through google search this place was on top to visit near ghanta ghar pal haveli.
it is nive heritage reataurant with indoor and outdoor sitting arrangement. inside is beautiful but eve time it is best to sit outdoor with great view offortwith lighting.

this usually tops the recommendations list for jodhpur.
with a beautiful view of the mehrangadhforton one side and the colorful crowded ghanta ghar on the other, this rooftop restaurant is in pal haveli next to gulab sagar lake.
with a decent bar, steep prices and a very limited menu, it's worth the view.
it would be a treat for the foreigners.

loved the biryani. which was more towards a veggie pulao but liked it nonetheless.

lacchha paratha and the jalfrazi subzi was regular.

the mocktails were nice, not too diluted. tried the capriosca and gin & sin.

very poor service.... it’s a rooftop restaurant with view of gulabsagar lake,fortn clock tower... that’s the only plus thing.... but they blv in catering to foreigners only... food is ok... staff is unavailable for normal indians even on weekdays... forget weekends.... didn’t expect this from a place located in jodhpur whr ppl r very polite n friendly...

ambience is great as there is a lake on one side andforton other which looks great but food is not so great and cost is very much according to quality of food they serve...there are many other restaurants which provide equal quality and are lot cheaper..in the end its about the food for me
