doubledoubleanimal style. that's all you need. great burgers great price. took my mom and she's a picky eater but even she liked it. shoe string style fresh fries as well.

great milk shakes as well.

my first time having in-n-out for lunch. ordered adoubledouble, an action fries and shake. all good, fresh and tasty, love it! the view here is also good for plane spotting!

we lived in california for 28 years and return often. we try to always make a visit to in-n-out.

great fresh fries (not frozen in advance). great burgers and shakes.doubledouble (2 beef patties and 2 slices of american cheese. you can get the animal style with their great sauce.

f you are in la, you cannot leave without having an in n out burger.  
for those who don't know, when you are ordering your fries make sure you say "animal style fries" which is an off-menu item. and for the burger, thedoubledouble. ...
super crowded always but a high efficiency of the staff makes up for it. amazingly easy on the pocket, the locals and tourist love it!

i ate in n out at 4 different locations while i was in la. unfortunately i can’t remember the exact locations but i was pleased every time. fast food but with a bit of extra love. it’s all made to order so it takes a little time to get your food but nothing not worth waiting for. i had thedoubledouble, animal fries, normal fries and a shake over my visits. the food is fresh and delicious. that sauce..... shit yeah. in n out is quintessentially la and a must while you are over there.

if you are in la, you cannot leave without having an in n out burger. they have a large presence in this city and every place is as good. the buggers are the most softest, juiciest and succulent ones that you would have had. the uniform size french fries and coke with the bugger is a great snack. if you are a burger lover like me, ask for adoublepatty burger, you would getdoublethe experience. super crowded always but a high efficiency of the staff makes up for it. amazingly easy on the pocket, the locals and tourist love it!

definitely the best comfort food for me. this place is always packed but the service is fast as well so waiting time is okay. every time i visit the us i always buy burgers here.doubledouble extra onions and cheese pleasee. :)

stopped here on a work trip. ordered thedoubledouble “gorilla style”. next time will get the mustard grilled style too. burger had great flavor especially with the sauce. fries were just average kind of chalky/dry. definitely will be back at this famed burger joint.

simply perfect fast food. doubledouble is delicious. the beef is seasoned and cooked well with a crispy outside but still juicy. the sauce is excellent and they'll ask whether you'd like onions. fries are plentiful and delicious. did not have a shake. simple menu and quite inexpensive.

i know some of my melbourne friends and followers are self admitting burger snobs and you think the best burgers are in the southern hemisphere ... but it is dang hard to beat an in-n-out burger. imo the best fast food burger on the planet, not even close. i always go "animal style"doubledouble. and, if i did my morning run i get "animal style fries" as well. wonderful with a pink lemonade it barqs root beer. if you feel less 'carny' be sure to ask for "protein style." only those in the know, get these items as they are not on the menu.

i normally don't eat fast food but if i do "in-n-out" is the only fast food i eat. fast, friendly, cheap, high quality and huge portions. i get the double,doubleprotein style (wrapped in lettuce/no bun).

before i flew to the us my teammates told me i had to go to in n out. they couldn't remember any other place to eat in the country, just that i had to go get adoubledouble. i did exactly as i was told and have spent the last 3 years trying to find a substitute here in australia that comes close with no luck. i nearly got close from a canadian chain in singapore but it would pale in comparison

i cheated this weekend and had adoubledouble animal style burger. i have never heard of such a thing and it was the best fast food hamburger i have ever had. the grilled onions and whatever "special sauce" on it were fantastic. i ate the entire meal!

you will also notice when you enter that the place is very busy, if you got luggage or another travelling companion you can use the luggage or your travelling companion to hold a seat (just keep an eye on the luggage if you are travelling alone). otherwise you can just do a take-away and sit by the park outside. although it's harder to take advantage of the free refills that most north american restaurants give (a good thing for your figure though!).
