i go out of my way to eat at in-n-out whenever i am in california. the burgers are great. great quality, consistent product, no surprises, and believe-it-or-not, always happy smiling service. great chain!

my cousins baptism of fire when i first set foot in us soil in 2013-- in and out burger! and it has been my standard since! fresh meat, seasoned and grilled en-pointe, fries/chips equally prepped from scratched-- what can be better! first order of business when in the us of a is this chain, otherwise america is not the same! waiting for it to be franchised in the philippines as they have tried before!

after my second-last trip to the us i had to make the painstaking decision to miss getting in-n-out on my way to the airport because i was worried i would miss my flight home. a decision i've regretted ever since. i seriously had recurring dreams about getting burgers and missing flights or attempting to make it but having to abandon mission halfway. on my most recent return to the us i was lucky enough to spend 4 months there which meant dozens of trips to in-n-out all over the south-west but it was the final visit on the afternoon before my 11:30pm flight that was the most satisfying.

the order was simple - 1 double-double, animal style, 1
cheese burger with (onions), and 1 fries, also animal style, and 1 chocolate shake.

it was about 5 minutes of waiting followed by about 10 minutes of unforgettable, inimitable, burger-induced euphoria. i no longer dream of missing out on in-n-out, only of the day i will return to relive the moment once more.

love love love in-n-out burger. i don't even know where to start. first off, this place is always crowded for a reason. the staff are all so friendly and professional. the dining area is kept clean when not bustling. i always get a double-double animal style. incredibly juicy patties, zesty sauce, fresh veggies and soft buns. all around fantastic. docked a point because the fries are flavorless and unpleasant.

this is the latest la location, el segundo on the southside of the airport, westchester is on the north. cookie cutter quality and always packed like every single one. clean neat and hard working employees keep the food moving.

simply perfect fast food. double double is delicious. the beef is seasoned and cooked well with a crispy outside but still juicy. the sauce is excellent and they'll ask whether you'd like onions. fries are plentiful and delicious. did not have a shake. simple menu and quite inexpensive.

got straight off the plane after landing in los angeles for the first time. have been wanting to eat in-n-out for a long time, thanks to years of media coverage on podcasts, websites etc. even knew about the secret menu all the way in australia.

it didn't disappoint. in fact, it was even better than i was expecting. had the double-double animal style and it was delicious and extremely well prepared for a fast-food chain. the most unexpected thing was the price too. we had two burgers, two fries and two large drinks and it was just over 13 bucks. in australia i'd expect to pay over 20 dollars for a comparable meal from mcdonalds.

wish i could be back there.

in & out burger is a fan favorite for the thousands of californians who have been transplanted to texas over the years.  if you grew up in l.a. like i did, you in & out was a high school hang out with the most delicious burgers with only fresh ingredients.  go to your local whatabuger see how the fries are made, out of the freezer bags, then come to in & out and watch them take a real potato and push it through the fry press.  you just don't find freshness like that anywhere else.  and the the delicious burgers they puts then over the top.

i know some of my melbourne friends and followers are self admitting burger snobs and you think the best burgers are in the southern hemisphere ... but it is dang hard to beat an in-n-out burger. imo the best fast food burger on the planet, not even close. i always go "animal style" double double. and, if i did my morning run i get "animal style fries" as well. wonderful with a pink lemonade it barqs root beer. if you feel less 'carny' be sure to ask for "protein style." only those in the know, get these items as they are not on the menu.

visiting the restaurant near lax was an absolute treat. a massive group of us (5 cars full) went after my cousin's wedding before the reception.

we ordered a lot however i think the name is more of a novelty and the food is not up to par. however, go just to say you have been!

i had the cheesy chips and a milkshake (pescetarian friendly.. ha ha)

was not worth the hype i always seem to see about in-n-out the burgers were ok but the fries tasted like fried mashed potatoes covered in paraffin wax to hold their shape probably will never go back.

in-n-out burgers are a delicious treat. i'm always excited to eat there . . . which is entirely a testament to the strength of their cheeseburgers because the rest of the food is disappointing.

the fries genuinely taste a bit gross (less so if you get them animal style), and the milkshakes are not worth drinking unless you have a serious calcium deficiency.

oddly enough, they're also going through a pepper shortage right now, meaning the usual option of banana peppers on the side is unavailable.

most recently, i tried the burger "animal style", an option on their secret menu, but i was not impressed. the extra sauce and grilled onions that comprise this option really don't add anything to the burger. it really is perfect already, and doesn't need the additions.

stick with their original burgers and you will be delighted.
