staff was friendly and helpful. my grandsons loved the shirley temples. thechickenfried rice however which is my favorite as well as my oldest grandsons was pretty tasteless. my youngest grandson ordered the kids shrimp and didn’t like it but i wouldn’t go on that because he’s a super picky eater. for me i wouldn’t go back just because i always want to orderchickenfried rice. their other food might be wonderful for all i know.

best rice ever!. i've lived here in san marcos for almost 30 years. myself and my family think this is the best chinese food not only in san marcos but everywhere we have eaten. we love the sesamechickenas well as the sweet and sour chicken. my son always has to get a to go plate of rice because one helping is not enough for him! i highly recommend it!

imperial garden is one of the best chinese resturants in san marcos. i've been going there for 5 years and it is fantastic. i especially like the beef and brocoli, the won ton supreme soup is also good, for an appitizer i would have to recommend thechickenwings. overall a great place to eat with pretty decent prices.
