my favorate hibachirestaurantin town.. a small store behind a taste of italy,not a very good location,but the food was surprisingly tasty,price was good,will be back.

the best hibachi in wilmington. i really enjoy this place. it is one of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner in wilmington. the hibachi chicken and general tso chicken is what i order. the price for their lunch special is around 5 dollars, but the meal is worth a lot more. hibachi bistro is a little more expensive and their food isnt as good. to me ichiban express is a nice hole-in-the-wallrestaurantthat not too many people know about, which makes it even more awesome. everybody and their mother goes to hibachi bistro and the food isnt special. ichiban express seems to be more authentic with better quality food. i love this place. eat here and you will leave a lot happier.

this resturant should be removed from urban spoon for delivery. thisrestaurantis listed on this site as an establishment that does delivery in wilmington, nc. i called them up and they informed me that because i am 8 miles away and that i am too far away to qualify for delivery to my home and that they try to keep their delivery's within a 6 mile radius.

i asked the manager how long would it take at that hour to drive to my house from theirrestaurantand he said "10 minutes."

my reply was "you're listed under urban spoon for delivery in wilmington, nc and you're saying you won't drive an extra 2 miles for a total of 10 minutes for one of your customers?

his answer, yes.

keep in mind that this was their "manager", not just a regular employee. the bottom line is this place should be removed from the local delivery section from urban spoon since most places in this city are farther that 6 miles from ichiban express.

also their management and customer service is piss poor.

places like this ruin the user experience for urban spoon and make it look like an inaccurate site to trust for sources of delivery in wilmington, nc.

please remove ichiban express from your options of delivery urban spoon and also i wouldn't do business with thisrestaurantjoint, they clearly don't treat customers well from my conversation and some of the other reviews i've read on them as well.

horrible management financial fraud. horrible management and workers!!!!

i am in the process of reporting to better business bureau. i called to place an order and when the total i was given was not correct based on the prices i saw per the online menu i called back. requested a run down of prices. when i found out the "delivery price" and the "credit card use" charge was pre tax i was a little astonished they didn't tell me this during the initial charge. the lady on the phone promptly slammed the phone down! when i attempted to speak with the manager not only did he refuse to speak nice with me he did not send a copy of my voided credit charge. the credit has not been issued to my bank debit card. he would not speak with me the 2nd time i tried to call him nor would he even give me his name this so called " manager" . i have in the past ordered from him and even referred theirrestaurantto our own guests... but not anymore. good luck for those brave enough to surrender your credit card numbers.

the best hibachi in wilmington! the staff is the friendliest and just all around great. food is awesome in taste, quality, portion and price. thisrestaurantis a hidden secret b/c location is lacking appeal, but i have to have my ichiban every week! try it, you will love it!

better than hibachi bistro. ichiban's menu is pretty much the same as hibachi bistro, with the prices being about the same (fairly cheap), but the ingredients are better quality and the portion sizes are more generous. i don't know why thisrestaurantis listed as a "buffet" as it clearly isn't. the entrees are all hibachi style stirfry served with rice. the staff is very nice and eager to please. i wish more of the college crowd knew about this little store tucked behind a taste of italy. delivery is available with a minimum order of $10, and always arrives hot and quick.
