love the char siu pork. finally got to try this truck. i had the boom box with char siu pork, fried rice, a spring roll, and cucumber salad ($8). the pork was really yummy and tender and i loved the glaze. i got an order of cinnamon sugar fried wonton chips ($2) for dessert, also yummy (not greasy at all). definitely big enough for 2+ people. on top of the tasty food, the guys working on the truck were really nice and they have good music!

rip off. i ordered a side of asian coleslaw & what came out 1/2 a cup of shredded bagged cabbage with no taste for $6.... really???? it couldn't have cost them more than $0 .25 to make it. we had a couple of entrees which we ok but nothing spectacular. my bang bang shrimp entree was only $10 which was extremely reasonable next to my $6 coleslaw. i really have no idea how this could be so highly rated. bang bang doesn't even compare to bonefish which would blow these guys out of the water even price wise...which is sad!

easter truck rally at idlewild.

ordered the bao buns, wiki toko and rainbow noodles. for some reason the buns did not make the order but the bang bang shrimp and bulgogi wok toks were great.

rainbow noodles were good but not quite like the vibrant picture of them on the truck front.

service quick and friendly,

not a bad experience, tried the korean bulgogi beef boom box with kimchee and soy sauce egg. tasty bulgogi and kimchee with a tinge of heat. for $8.00 from a food truck i expect a larger portion. might as well go to a regular korean restaurant such as sari one korean on cypress in tampa fl. the bang bang shrimp is not all that and a bag of chips, bone fish's rendition is much better.
would i come back and try some other items, you bet i will, can't wait to visit again.

piggy marley with char siu style pork belly, pickled radish, cilantro and crushed peanuts was like stepping into a taipai night market. while the motley cue livened up my dulled sense with thoughts of korean bbq, as it had been stuffed with charred pork and kimchi. finally on my tour of bao, the most surprising of all was the headbanger’s bao. not only did it bring me back to when i used to listen to use your illusion parts 1&2 in class in 1992, but it was great execution of what many a heartless chain restaurant tries to accomplish, yet fails miserably. this might sound crazy, however they actually fried shrimp, tossed it in a sweet and spicy sauce, then allowed the shrimp to remain intact and crispy, while ram jamming a crunchy pungent slaw in as an accompanying gesture.

oh my gosh, the smell is intoxicating and the 'que is darn good. i got the elvis, a pulled pork sandwich with slaw , and their memphis gold sauce on top. the slaw was nice, vinegary, and the sauce had a nice heat to it. definitely would do this one again, even with doing a good que of my own at home.
