hu dat noodle house

love the bun!. started out with the vietnamese rolls which tasted extremely fresh and full of flavor! husband and i both got the beef bun bowl which was also fantastic! the beef had so much flavor and tenderness to it. also, very affordable!

service was excellent.. almost as if they work as a team. always there when we needed something. have been there numerous times since! i love this place!

really bad!!. ordered the sesame chicken and combo lowmein. meat in both dishes tasted boiled with no flavor or seasoning. the sesame sauce was like water and did not adhere to the chicken at all. will never go to this location again. can't believe this location is so bad compared to the spid location.

not impressed. the food was good but i have had much better. if you have no concept of good vienamese cuisine than this place would be a good intro. their menu would not satisfy a person looking for a good vietnamese meal.

finally made it to hu dat (new orleans fans?) and i have to say it was a really good meal. i got a little confused by the ordering process, but was quickly helped out by the staff. order at the counter and someone brings out your meal. egg rolls were packed full of flavor and i enjoyed my lo mein. it’s served with very thin noodles, beef, chicken and shrimp. little bit of cabbage, carrots and onions. delicious and big portions. it seemed like i was never going to finish that plate. overall a great meal, friendly staff and big flavors.

one of the better oriental food restaurants. this one and the one in portland are spot on.

the only reason they didn't get a 5 is because of the wait times.

certainly worth trying, you will probably become a repeat customer.

i have visited hu dat noodle house on three different occasions, and all three times my meals have been spectacular. i've had the spicy meat pie (appetizer), shrimp create-your-own bun ga bowl, as well as with beef, and most recently, shrimp lo mein. all are so very delicious! most items are quite affordable; the meals are always filling. my only neg observation is they're a bit chintzy on the peanuts and ho sein sauce for take out, which is usually what i have to do. for take out orders, make sure you don't go during prime times such as noon hour -- unless you have 1/2 hour just to hang around. they're that busy! :)

ok but..... this place is ok and if you like this place you have to try the hut dat on spid they know what they r doing food is same but so much better!!!!!

very impressed. my husband is gluten free (makes him very sick) and i was worried that he could not eat anything here. the staff was so knowledgable. the vermicelli is rice and they even knew that the beef had soy sauce (not gluten free) in it. they could point out which items on the menu he could eat. so happy to be able to come here with him as well.

best pho in corpus christi. delicious and authentic....not like those instant places. first and last choice always!!

excellent food. we were in town for one night only and went off of approval ratings and reviews here on urbanspoon. we had the appetizer pho, first time i've ever been able to have this as an appetizer! he had beef and i had the chicken. you usually have to get the huge portion but sometimes i want just a little. and it was delicious! we also had the crab rangoon, yum! my husband had shaken beef over pan fried lo mein noodles. that beef had the best flavor to it!! i had the bok choi stir fry with chicken and brown rice. it was just what i wanted...some chicken and lots of veggies. we really want hu dat to open up in houston so we can eat there more often! i highly recommend it! plus there were many other menu options that sounded really good. and the prices were good. the wait staff was very helpful, i think just about every server came to our table at one time or another! thanks hu dat!

horrible under cooked fried rice.. i always enjoyed food at hu dat in rockport but the food at this staples location was not good. i wanted to send it back, but with all the immature college age waiters and bus boys horsing around the restaurant, i can only imagine what they might do to the returned food. i won't be going back.

always an outstanding experience at hu dat very friendly service and delicious food. i wouldn't be able to narrow down one dish as my favorite it's all good!

good food. good food always. crab rangoons, general j's and the sushi is always a good bet. d'lounge next door is one of my favorite spots in town to grab a drink and relax.

only because..... i go there just because my friend likes going there since she is not have that adventurous taste and i only order mi thap cam everytime. after i put a lot of salt pepper, soy sauce, two different kinds of chili sauce then i was able to eat it.

not too shabby. sometimes the service is terrible, but the food is good. if you're craving vietnamese food, go here! i like their tofu bun!
