one of the bestplacein thrissur for a tasty non vegetarian feast.

though it’s a no frills restaurant, the tasty food will give a big satisfaction to everyone one.

don’t miss their chicken biriyani, chappati with chicken fry and lime juice.

must try if you are in thrissur town.

would i go there and sit and eat?no i most definitely will not.
would i do a takeaway from there?i most definitely will hoping and praying that the kitchen is a much betterplacethan the general seating areas.
time theplaceinvested some money back into the general upkeep and hygiene of the place.

the onlyplacewithout a freezer facility, which means everything is fresh n tidy. food is awesome as always. chicken lever fry n biriyani the s my favourite.

sapphire biriyani- athe oru vigaaram aane nammal thrissurkaarke. i've had biriyani from almost all the restaurants i go to but nothing matches sapphire biriyani. maybe because sapphire has been a part of me from my childhood and even now i haven't found anotherplacein thrissur nor anywhere else to match the taste i get from here (except from rahmeth hotel calicut). thrissur il adhyam aayitano ... then definitely go have a biriyani from sapphire. highly recommended.

briyani is not that great what i used to have before. but still, they are able to maintain the consistency which other restaurants in thrissur fail to. still, i love thisplacebecause they serve mutton liver & appam as breakfast. i do recommend thisplacefor clean and good food.

must-try food - porotta - fish curry
briyani - if lucky you get the best. try to visit the shop morning at 11, the first batch of biryanis are really good.

they were the pioneers of biriyani in kerala once upon a time. now the quality has dropped like a stone over the time . after thrissur people started going out and once people from other parts started coming to thrissur, thrissurkkar started getting original taste of biriyani. now thisplaceis a pathetic shadow of the old sapphire. if they are not willing to change, they will just remain a transit eatary of the people passing by thrissur railway station and bus station. the proximity to railway station and bus station make sure that this shop stays afloat.

hotel sapphire has been a legendary restaurant when it comes to its biriyanis. theplacehas managed to maintain its quality and consistency of taste over the course of years and still today is most sought after. it goes without saying that their chicken biriyani is a must try.

one of the legendaryplacein thrissur, very close to bus stand. always crowded and takes really long time for someone to attend you. worth visiting if you are around.

i must say it was one of the best biriyani i have ever eaten.tried both mutton and chiken biriyani both were superb . also tried chilli chiken dry . quantity was good.even if you want more rice they will give you . ended with special falooda which also cameout well . overall 100% satisfied lunch ..eventhough theplacewas a little crowded there was no delay for food and service wa excellent.

used to be the go toplacefor biriyani. it’s just pretty okay now. still reasonably priced but its pretty ok. nothing much on ambience. it works like a ‘quick meal service’ during the day. i must say their chicken dry fry is absolutely amazing stuff . they provide with roasted onions with it as well. it’s still the best their!

legendary biryani spot in thrissur. they serve authentic malabar biryani which is rare to find in the city. thisplaceis on the complex outside ksrtc, very near to railway station. they have now renovated theplaceand added two additional joints on either side of the restaurant; one a juice shop and another a quick serve restaurant with other cuisines. as always, it’s very crowded in the restaurant during lunch hours. they have very limited menu here with biryanis- mutton, chicken, fish and egg along with chappati, parotta and 5/6 curries. service is nice and quick. overall, a goodplacein thrissur to have some delicious biryanis.

iconic, been visiting sapphire from childhood and till date it has been my go toplacefor biriyani in thrissur. 
over the years, the taste has changed but the whole experience of dining out here bring back a lot of memories.

this is very old and famous restaurant in thrissur. i have tried their food start from my school life and still continues.

if you are in thrissur and looking for a non veg food especially authentic non veg biriyani, this is the properplaceto try.

they have parking available. ambience is average. thisplaceis always crowded during lunch time.
