one of the first hotel to provide madurai based food. even though the hotel is quite far from my house, i go here when i have craving for authentic south tamilnadu food. most of the time my orders are mutton biriyani, mutton chukka and omelette. the omelette is very small but thick. i tried the meals which came with mutton, chicken and fish gravy. the quality of the rice is bad and the poriyal was bad but you cannot expect much from a 80-100rs meals.
in general all thefoodin this hotel is masala heavy. if ur not a fan of spicy and masala food, this hotel is not ur cup of tea. plus the hotel is old and is not maintained to restaurant standards. it is just a mess kinda hotel which some people might think is not properly cleaned or hygienic.
