price - 2/5 ( exorbitant for the quality served)
parking - 3/5 ( difficult to get in this area)
fire safety- located on ground floor. no visible secondary exit. no visible fire safety device. no blockers at exit points.
this place was in my list to try out for authentictamilstyle food and we though to give a try. but the experience started real bad with very unnecessary kind of rude and kind of xenophobic behavior from the staff.
all we asked was what is contained in a particulartamildish, by pointing out, this lady asked us to repeat the correct pronunciation in the "right" way. with no disrespect meant to anyone., ofcourse the perfect t dialect can not be expected from a tourist visiting ooty right?
although she understood what we ordered and the native ascent difference was obvious, instead of being helpful towards the customer, i did not need language lesson there.
cut to that we ordered, naadu chicken fry, which was nothing but a concoction of meat that was not the skinned properly and about 60% of meat was fat and meat that is generally discarded. and it costed 240.
chicken gravy was also similar and although the gravy was decent, chicken pieces were same.
we had a ordered a veg meal by explaining with great difficulty that was okeish and we got two extra bowl of curd as compliment . lol
kotthu paratha that is famous here, i ordered too. it was okiesh and definitely had better ones in bangalore. and for the price of 250, i could have 3 actually.
i went to savour some authentictamildishes and not just i was disappointed at the food quality and also the pathetic and about xenophobic service.
think before you step in.
