greatchinesetakeout!. try the singapore lo mei fun (sp?). it's great along with most everything there.

my go-to take-out place. hot wok is my favoritechinesetake-out restaurant. it is your standard take-out selection, but done well. the meat is good-quality, the fried rice and noodle dishes are tasty and the egg rolls are crispy. it's cheap and always hits the spot. the house special mei fun noodles and chicken with garlic sauce dinner combo are two of my personal favorites.

hot wok on vets. this is greatchinesefood . for so long now i have craved goodchinesefood in the new orleans . and i found it at a take out joint. fast friendly service
large portions and great flair to your food . not the styrofoam bland stuff americanizedchineseserved at five happenss. no kidding try it for yourself
hey i seechinesepeople eating here all the time what does that tell you. car loads of them crowded in here for take out .. try it, you'll love it .

very good chinese!. i love this place. i have tried quite a fewchineserestaurants around nola and this is by far the best! good prices too! only take out though.

when i first spotted hot wok, it reminded me of the type ofchinesetake-out restaurants you would find in new york and automatically peaked my interest. after passing it quite a few times, i finally had the urge for wings and fried rice and went inside to get my americanchineseon. the place itself has no ambiance.

good food!. i've had a good bit ofchinesefood in my lifetime(takeout/phone order/buffet) so i have a good idea of how goodchinesefood tastes.a friend and i recently ate here and i ordered the mandarin chicken combo and she had the curry chicken plate.mine was perfect! hers was a lil too spicy for her taste but it is a spicy dish.she ate at least 3/4 of hers regardless and did say it was really good.and it was because i also tasted it.but not only is the food good,its inexpensive and the portions are generous!i also liked the fact that the kitchen area is open so you can watch them prepare and cook your food.there's only two tables in the small dining area,but for take out or phone order pick up,its a great place to eat.i will be back and i recommend this place to anyone who likeschinesefood.

cheap and tastychinesefood. i liked this place, but not enough to venture out to jefferson parish just to get carryout. it is perfectly sufficient for what it is.

enjoyed it. ordered the general's chicken and chicken szechuan style combo platters. we really liked both items and will definitely go back again. plenty of food for us in nice, plastic containers for a good price.

i really liked the pork fried rice even though it had a little bit of peas in it; and i don't like peas. it was just that good. egg rolls were good as well.

we found our go-to place forchinesethough in this area. we'll be back.

good 'bad chinese'. lots of food for the money. the steamed dumplings had a high wrapper to meat ratio but the dipping sauce made up for that. the bbq spare ribs were a by dry; i wouldn't order again. the spring rolls were forgettable. the mu shu was pretty good. the shrimp were plentiful and properly cooked. the portion was huge. i would get this again. it was christmas day and i was so sick i didn't want to contaminate my friends so i orderedchineseand stayed in. movies and good 'bad chinese'; second only to grandma's chicken soup.

greatchinesetake out. this place serves among the bestchinesefood i've ever eaten. it is fresh, fast, very well flavored, very reasonably priced, large portions, and served by very friendly staff.

this is whatchinesefood is supposed to be. too bad pf chang's up the road can't make food this good ( for twice the price, too!!)

i highly recommend this place to all !!!

this place is awesome, reminds me a lot ofchinesefood from new york and i have become a regular at this place, everything made to order and nothing is ever under or over cooked, just right time and time again
