visited thisplacein january with a friend. simple interiors with helpful staff although it was really crowded that day.
we tried the stir fried babycorn, chicken with green peppers and vegetable hakka noodles. now the noodles were a big disappointment. they seemed to have been drenched in oil and had too much soya sauce. the chicken however was pretty decent- tender pieces in a mild gravy without spices and with capsicum. the babycorn was pretty good too although i felt it could have been more crunchy. but that's just me and in no way was it unpleasant. we wanted to try momos as well but it was unavailable.
the quantity served in each dish is more than enough- a plate of noodles can be shared by two people easily.

amazing decor. has this very cool laid back kind of vibe, i like thisplacevery much. food was amazing, say it pork ribs, the prawn, paneer and the chicken we had it all. apart from the paneer everything else was finger licking good. pork ribs were the right amount of greasy and succulent. loved it.

hotpot is aplacewhere you'll get indo-chinese, north indian and some asian continental dishes to enjoy. situated in the heart of guwahati, in bhuvan road in uzanbazar near 4 seasons restaurant, thisplaceshould have been a solid strong one. maybe it is because i could see many people coming here.

but i didn't like the food at all. i had ordered veg pulao, paneer butter masala and crispy chilli baby corn. veg pulao was good but they could have added some pieces of paneer as well. crispy chilli baby corn was normal and apparently it was very cold so i didn't enjoy much. and the worst was the paneer butter masala. it was so so sweet it felt as if i was having some sweet dish instead. i want the chef to taste some other places' butter masala dishes and then recreate it. because it needs so much improvement! my friend couldn't have anything actually. although we had asked the chef to spice it up a bit and he did add some green chillies but it was not enough sadly. and the price was also on the higher side considering not at all a worthy taste.

i am giving 2 stars for the service which also needs improvement but i really appreciate the work the guys are doing in this restaurant.

if you are looking for good pan asian food, this is the place...it has an interesting menu. we went during the lunch time and there was this offer going on for some asian noodles bowl. we ordered for the pork noodles bowl and a chicken bowl and a pork starter. the starter pork item and the pork bowl tasted really well. the chicken asian bowl was a little blend to be honest so i would not suggest that. the restaurant is a small so you can take a small group of friends. the staff were friendly. food took a long time to come. they could maybe add a little more to the interior. the asian bowl came for 150 bucks so thisplacedefinitely gets a thumbs up for the budget.

amazing place! one of the topmost places in the city to have amazing pan asian cuisine. located at uzanbazar, thisplaceis well known and highly appreciated. a serene ambience headlines thisplace- beautiful atmosphere, seating arrangements as well as a cosy vibe. the menu is choc full of variety: my pick would be the momos and believe me, i wouldn't be wrong if i said that the best momos in guwahati are available here! rich, succulent and juicy, they are my absolute favourite. trust me once you have them you will be hooked! highly recommended!

i went to thisplacejust for the momos. now there's no hype about the momos here, but it definitely comes out as one of the three best places to have momos in guwahati if you are not supremely averse to oil. yes they use that in abundance, but which great food doesn't. the best part about the momos other than it's filling is the skin made of flour. well there are just three parts the third being the soup, but let's talk about the skin for a minute. we are lucky to have a chef there who has done his studies well because the skin is not too thick at the places where it is joined. the technique used to do that is that when you prepare the flat dough for momo you press the edges more so that when you join two sides, it is not too much dough like you find everywhere else. the filling has a lot of oil and subtle hints of necessary spices. nothing except the oil was overdone. the soup had a very healthy chicken broth with some caramelised onions and cabbage which added to the occasional crunchiness along with every spoonfull. fresh cut coriander gave the soup a very refreshing flavour. the only bad thing about the restaurant is the ambience because it seems very gloomy. mostly because it is generally emptly. other than that the price of the momos was a bit on the higher side. 120 bucks for five pieces is too much when you think about it. i hope that someday the chef comes out of this mess and start an open air momo joint. pretty sure it will be full of people then.
