behaviour of the staff is worst. they don’t know how to talk and service is too poor. it isgoodto eat somewhere else rather than this restaurant.

hoshiyar puri is a small pure vegetarian restaurant serving food since 1937 in one of the main market’s of haridwar.
hoshiyarpuri is walking distance from har ki pauri ganga ghat.
we had been here for dinner and had mutter paneer, missi butter roti, wheat butter roti, dal tadka, jeera rice and kheer.
butter roti and dal tadka cud have been better but rest of the food was yummy.
butter roti really cud have had butter properly applied over it and dal tadka could have had lesser amount of green chillies.

this is a very simple restaurant where ambience doesn’t hold any importance. but one can definitely see the crowd constantly flowing in for itsgoodquantity and taste of food.
if in haridwar, apart from street food one can definitely try such type of restaurants located along streets withgoodtaste and pocket friendly experience.
the owner seemed to be polite and providedgoodservice amongst all the crowd.

on my visit to haridwar with family, this is the best place that i found for dinner. it remains packed for most of the time..... reasonable rates....goodservice..... and most importantly highly delicious food.
its within the market so, you can surely visit the place if looking for some yummy indian food withgoodquantity.

heard alot about this place so i visited here along with my friends for dinner and indeed the food was amazing. we ordered dal makhani and butter paneer masala along with tandoori roti and butter naan. the food was delicious. the service was alsogoodeven when ybe outlet was full of people. if you want to enjoy a tasty north indian meal in dhaba style you ought to visit here for sure

this restaurant is famous for its authentic taste of food and is doing great for years.
we had

1) dal makhni - amazing taste with accurate amount of spices and rajma beans unlike only dal the beans were mixed and served hot.

2) paneer butter masala - usually paneer is bit sweet but this one wasn't . it was delicious with crushed paneer topping .

3) tandoori roti - crunchy freshly cooked roti

4) butter naan - properly cooked and served

apart from food the service isgood.
the decor is average , simple table and chair and bit cleanliness issue .
also the crowd is not sogoodand no restrooms are there , just a small sink is there to wash hands.

overall agoodexperience , must try if you visit the city .

food is normal. but i have to wait an hour for my table so wait not worth so please go checkout some other place for food. you moregoodplaces there withgoodtasty food. so please save your time.

haridwar well known religious place in india, we visited and enjoyed ganga snan at har ki paudi.it was time for lunch so i started findinggoodoption for vegetarian food.i tell you that you will not usually find verygoodrestraunt at har ki paudi. we decided to have our lunch here as it was advised by local person. we went there and got a table. we ordered sweet lassi, dal taka, paneer butter masala and kadi pakora accompanied by missi roti and butter roti.dal and kadi wasgoodbut paneer was not satisfactory bcoz of paneer.lassi was very very sweet.overall experience was ok but they need to work on their food.but we can say it is one of the verygoodoption for veg food at this location.

the crowd at this place will draw ur attention and will make you curious to find out what is this place . the place is popular and famous with tourists and locals , asked for suggestions to have food 🥘 most of them will suggest hoshiyarpuri. and yes , the food here isgoodtoo . service isgood, ambience is dhaba kind , food isgood, quality isgood, quantity isgood, staff is friendly and helpful.

been here for dinner, the place is small with a simple ambiance, service is pretty great.

the specials for that day were "sarson ka saag" and "makki ki roti". makki ki roti was over and we only had sarson ka saag,

tried the following :
lachcha parata
sarson ka saag
tandoori roti
dal makhni (house special)
missi roti

everything we ordered was verygoodexcept missi roti, missi roti is not my thing.

too many hoshiarpuri named restaurants. difficult to find original.goodfood. paneer is not at all real or original (more like rubber). too costly food options according to location. brand name being so renowned, owner should concentrate on improving food quality and quantity to demand such a high price.

went there with lot of expectations, but sadly the food taste was below average and prices were higher than what it should be.
we ordered dal and mix veg along with stuffed nan and laccha parantha, nothing except for laccha parantha was good.
onlygoodthing about this place is service which is excellent!
