i recently visited to haridwar and stop by hoshiyarpuri at har ki pauri. this place serves amazing food. i tried desi ghee dal makhani and paneer butter masala with butter naan and tawa roti. i just loved the taste. each and every dish was prepared authentically. the bad thing about this place is its ambience. must order the special lassi, it super refreshing, without it the meal cannot end. must visit. overall

this restaurant is famous for its authentic taste of food and is doing great for years.
we had

1) dal makhni - amazing taste with accurate amount of spices and rajma beans unlike only dal the beans were mixed and served hot.

2) paneer butter masala - usually paneer is bit sweet but this one wasn't . it was delicious with crushed paneer topping .

3) tandoori roti - crunchy freshly cooked roti

4) butter naan - properly cooked and served

apart from food the service is good .
the decor is average , simple table and chair and bit cleanliness issue .
also the crowd is not so good and no restrooms are there , just a small sink is there to wash hands.

overall a good experience , must try if you visit the city .

pathetic place... on my recent visit to haridwar, i found this over hyped restaurant pathetic and waste of money place. their lassi was not fresh and chilled it was sour and unpalatable and when we share our experience with the careless owner... he simply said "jo hai yahi hai"... so, no courtesy, no regret, no apology. guy's please don't waste your money on such stupid places those are just over hyped by some peoples. instead of visiting such over hyped places, have something from small places, at least they serve fresh and have courtesy too. "hoshiyarpuri... you are suck"

food is normal. but i have to wait an hour for my table so wait not worth so please go checkout some other place for food. you more good places there with good tasty food. so please save your time.

the family restaurant at ranipur mod.... the food quality is very nice...safe and clean environment of the restaurant is really impressive and but the behavior of one waiter is disappointing

haridwar well known religious place in india, we visited and enjoyed ganga snan at har ki paudi.it was time for lunch so i started finding good option for vegetarian food.i tell you that you will not usually find very good restraunt at har ki paudi. we decided to have our lunch here as it was advised by local person. we went there and got a table. we ordered sweet lassi, dal taka, paneer butter masala and kadi pakora accompanied by missi roti and butter roti.dal and kadi was good but paneer was not satisfactory bcoz of paneer.lassi was very very sweet.overall experience was ok but they need to work on their food.but we can say it is one of the very good option for veg food at this location.

i had a stop while coming back from haridwar i liked the place to have instant snacks and cold drinks. they offer a variety of milk and flavoured lassi.people coming from haridwar can experience the place

the crowd at this place will draw ur attention and will make you curious to find out what is this place . the place is popular and famous with tourists and locals , asked for suggestions to have food 🥘 most of them will suggest hoshiyarpuri. and yes , the food here is good too . service is good , ambience is dhaba kind , food is good , quality is good , quantity is good , staff is friendly and helpful.

been here for dinner, the place is small with a simple ambiance, service is pretty great.

the specials for that day were "sarson ka saag" and "makki ki roti". makki ki roti was over and we only had sarson ka saag,

tried the following :
lachcha parata
sarson ka saag
tandoori roti
dal makhni (house special)
missi roti

everything we ordered was very good except missi roti, missi roti is not my thing.

too many hoshiarpuri named restaurants. difficult to find original. good food. paneer is not at all real or original (more like rubber). too costly food options according to location. brand name being so renowned, owner should concentrate on improving food quality and quantity to demand such a high price.
