believe it or not: we were here twice in a day!!! this was unusual for me, but my mom was so in love with their bubur cha-cha and couldn't wait to taste the other food on the menu. my verdict after those two visits: a small malaysian-chinese place worth going and coming back to!
the list of food is decent, highly varied. the price is reasonable for the area. i like their fried kuey teow, mee goreng, sambal lala, eggplant claypot, and of course, like my mom, bubur cha-cha. my son loves their salted and peppered chicken. the restaurant is famous for their curry laksa, and i must admit, for someone who's not much into laksa, i quite enjoy the dish.
parking could be challenging, i must say, during weekdays and when it's fully packed. the restaurant was very clean, even the toilets look inviting! the staff members were really nice and would go their way to ensure our special order was fulfilled: "vegetarian mee goreng, please," "no sweet potato in the bubur, please" and even let my son chose his drink from the fridge.
as said earlier, yes, i'd definitely go back and recommend this place to my friends. if i could, i'd give it a rating of 5, but only if the restaurant would just concentrate on the dishes they do best (for example, the western fried chicken was disappointing...) all in all, i hope the chefs will always keep the taste consistent.
thank you for yourservicepeeps!! and keep up the good work.
