great staff and food. i have been going here for over 10 years, the food is always fantastic, highly recommended.

quality. as a family we have dined in the ho wong for several years and it is consistantly good. food and luxury the best cantonese in glasgow.
perhaps the only negative can be the over attention of the staff.

plush. i like the upholstered coziness of ho wong but it says a lot about the quality of chinese food in glasgow that this is considered one of the best. i found the food good but you couldn't mistake it for a chinese meal prepared in, say, hong kong. it's missing a lightness and fragrance. still - lovely dim lighting and great service.

this isn't cheap chinese food but it's served with flair and is of good quality. a real mix of customers enjoy the elegant surroundings of the ho wong restaurant. it's a bit of an establishment in glasgow and has never allowed it's standards to slip. you will enjoy a fantastic meal here. the only downside is the desserts, but usually after the first two courses you won't have space. great staff!

not one for night time. great establishment however i dont recomend it for evening or night time meals as i found myself being harrassed by a couple of "working girls" outside when we left. the area is known for this.

other than that the food is fantastic, very classy well thought decor and great service!

i recommend the duck!

it's not the cheapest chinese in town but the food is excellent quality, the décor is luxurious and atmospheric. staff are attentive and courteous. very popular for business lunches. perfect if you are looking for great quality chinese cuisine.

without a doubt the closest you will get to fine dining of a chinese variety in glasgow. this is a first class restaurant but is not cheap. only the amber regent comes close in my opinion. i'm fairly sure rick stein rated this as one of his favourite restaurants in glasgow. specialises in seafood but lots of non seafood options.

when in the mood for chinese this is a great choice. it has great ambience but can be a little pricey. great venue for a special occasion
