one of the best places to get lip-smacking momos in town. they also have a variety of indian, tibetan and nepali dishes to try out. the ambience is good for friends and family and i believe it's run by the family. definitely, a must try!

i went there after all the hype and it did live up to my expectations! the service was good and the chili sauce momos i tried were lip-smacking delicious.
i'm looking forward to my next visit where i get to try their other delicacies!

if you are a fan of tibetan/himalayan/hakka / indian chinese ... you would love it!

it's not a huge space so can get noisy but the food makes up for it!

if there was an option for negative rating, i would have given this restaurant that as well. before i start trashing them on number of reasons, i want to share that i gave this restaurant 5 star rating just 2 years back with excellent review about their food and service because it was worth it. ever since they have changed their staff since last few months or more as well as the manager, this restaurant has lost everything good about it. to begin with, not even once they give the food on time no matter what you order and how many times you have asked for the preparation time and followed up with them. they made me wait over 20-30 minutes multiple times for every order even if it just frozen momos which is a pre order from the app and all they have to do is take them out from the fridge and give it to me. secondly, what once were great / out of the world momos are now just regular momos irrespective of what you order (including the steam momos). thirdly, there is a constant struggle when it comes to taking hot sauce from them. there is no consistency. some days they will give you sauce on their own, other days they will charge you for it upfront denying that they ever give the sauce with the momos. for example: once i ordered delhi special momos which i have been eating since years and the girl at the cashier told me that they don't give hot sauce with these momos and they just put it on the momos. for years, i have been getting it without asking for it and now they just deny it making you look like a fool. they have zero respect for customers. they don't even try to talk to you and resolve the issue because their staff is always all over the place. lastly, after consistent bad service i called for the manager one day and he had the audacity to ask his staff to give me a can of coke as a gesture and neither the staff nor the manager gave a shit about my concern or my agitation. he never came out to talk. there is much more i can share but for now i strongly recommend that if you can keep a lot of patience and super low expectations to have regular momos, then go ahead else find a better option nearby instead of having a bad experience. i have kept my patience for months, but i don't think it's worth it. i really wish the old staff and chef comes back so that i don't have to deal with nonsense at himalayan kitchen anymore. i have never written a bad review for any restaurant especially in canada but they totally deserve this for how they treated me as a customer constantly and also for the lack of great food.

i’m sorry but the owner/chef was so rude and made me feel so uncomfortable.

it's a tibetan restaurant but also has popular indian dishes. we went on a busy friday evening and had to wait for half an hour to get a table. we were quite late so had to order everything together. the chicken momos were nice and delicious. i also ordered the chicken manchurian which was well made and similar to what we get back in india.

the food was amazing. it really had the delhi taste and the service was good too. definitely going back :)

one of my favorite places to eat! highly recommend it anyone who loves rich flavored tibetan - indian food. 

 unforgettable taste was a pleasure to eat there. will come again!

this place reminds us of home.. momos.. mutton curry.. some wait time but it’s worth the wait..fresh hot and awesome food and add that up with service with a smile.. you guys are the best 👍🏻

please stay away from this place if you need to be treated well, we ordered 3 dishes with some drinks today, while finishing up the order waiters recommended us to try special on the menu so we thought why not we order what she recommended us and take her words , found out she came up with the 4th dish which we never ordered , we politely said we never ordered 4th dishes we just substitute the 3rd dish with your recommendation, well any host or manager would just understand the fact that it was mis communication and get over with it but , it was a different case in this restaurant as they treat there guest as a dirt , waitress and manager starts arguing with us even after politely explaining it was miscommunication on there end , even after paying for the bill manager keep arguing about the fact it was not her staffs fault , i can’t believe what manager and restaurant on earth will treat there customers like this - it was the worst food experience ever i had in the city , i would like to give 0 stars � for this place.

stay away from this , this restaurant has no policy for customers even when there own staff made any mistake it will give the ownership of the problem to the customers.

first time trying tibetan cuisine, and couldn’t be more satisfied. great momo’s, really enjoyed both the chicken and beef selections. spicy is not too spicy btw.

i got to know about this place when i was once at albion mall and saw a momo to go outlet. i really loved their veg momos and i asked them if they had any other branch. i then got to know about this amazing place which serves the best vegetarian momos in toronto. my search for good veg momos finally ended here. their hot sauce is also amazing, very much similar to the one that i ate in india. they have a variety of options for momos. though everything is not listed on the menu but you can see their specialty at the little blackboard behind the cash counter. the ambiance is nice. the place looks neat and clean. this is my favorite place for momos now. i felt that the service was little slow even when the restaurant was empty. i feel that they need to improve that and that is it. also, chocolate momos are a must try. i just wish that there was a little more chocolate in chocolate momos.

i tried chole bhature here. chole curry definitely tasted like authentic indian but the bhatura (bread) was not so great. i would say it's definitely a one time try.

one of the best tibetan restaurants in the town. awesome momos! the food is cooked so well that it seems that you are eating from your home kitchen.

i was pescetarian at the time i went to this restaurant so i can only review the vegetarian choice. first of all, i still remember how nice the owner was. he showed me all their dishes and suggested the best choice for me. then the food, amazing! despite being very simple ( rice, vegetables and legumes. tibetan meals are mostly made of meat) it was so tasty i still remember it. i highly suggest to try this cousine at least once in your life. it's a different experience and can be a great choice even for people who don't like very spicy meals.
