i came here for lunch with my coworkers. its a cool, out of the way place.burgersare decent and reasonably priced. we shared a plate of fries and onion rings between the four of us. i really enjoyed these. the outdoor area is nice. i would come back here for lunch again

i've been here a few times recently, theburgersare good, the fries, greasy. it's nice to come to this place because you get that, "i went on vacation for lunch" feeling. great to sit outside in the summer, unless the horseflys are pestering. but they make a solid burger and have pretty scenery, nothing more, and for that, i like it.

half a cheeseburger in hillsboro served with a widmer brrr winter ale was a pretty fine lunch on a sunday afternoon. naturally the burger came with lots of fries. the server was great and she even offered to grill the onions which made the burger more tasty. they also had gardenburgersand fish and chips on the menu. hanging from the ceilings are dozens of baseball hats adding to the fun atmosphere.

not what it used to be. was very dissapointed in the food. service was ok. remember years ago that the hambergers were awesome and everyone always seems to talk about this place having the best burger. not anymore in my book. i could find a dozen other places with better food. not going back and will dispel the rumors of the bestburgersaround...

i don't get it.... ok food... nothing stood out except the fries. they were made from fresh cut whole russets and quite good. theburgersare standard frozen industrial grade patties fried on a flattop, slathered in too much goop (gottta remember to order mine dry and do my own condiments next time... if there is a next time)... service is ambivalent at best, tending towards hostile.

i just don't get it... this would never make my list of "destination" burger joints... i reckon i'll try them again before choosing which like/don't button to push...

special place. sometimes you just want to stuff your face withburgersthe size of your face. and, as a man with a large face, i feel like helvatia accomplishes that very nicely with it's jumbo cheeseburgers. keep up the good work, guys! i'll always have a special place in my mouth for you!~

absolutely fantastic!. we started going there for years ... over 30+ years ago and the only disappointment at that time was that it was for adults only ... but now we are back in the portland metro area (after over 25 years of living in the puget sound area) and are able to not only able to go with our grown children but take our grandchildren too ... absolutely the bestburgersand onion rings around ... don't particularly likeburgersbut these i won't pass up! fabulous! even our grandchildren look forward to coming!

nothing to talk about. i was so unimpressed with this dive, and i do mean dive. theburgersaren't even homemade, the tables were sticky with whatever...the waitress left customer service at home, and the fries were grease city! i will not be back.

tasty. when we got there the place was super busy but we were lucky enough to show up as someone was leaving so we got a booth. a waiter was at our table immediately to take our drink order and then our food order. we had ourburgerswithin 10 minutes of our arrival. the burger and fries were very good. two things to be aware of: the jumbo burger has 2 meat patties on it and they don't take credit cards (but there is an atm next door).

great burgers!. wish the service could be a bit faster when on limited time but theburgersare awesome. hat decor is okay, some of them need to be tossed though....dirty ew.
