this coffee is sogoodthat i bought some ground filter coffee for home. the simplicity of this coffee shop and the efficiency makes it a go-to spot for most of my friends. with loads of seating, the place is hardly ever empty. a great place to meet someone or to work inside has a large work table which i find is always filled with people.

great coffee and fun vibe. perfect for a quick place to take a break during your day or do some work. staff are wonderful and the indoor seating is modern and cosy at the same time, outside is a chilled vibe and agoodplace to sit and watch the town go by.

as far as quality coffee goes, hazz is definitely one of the forerunners. they produce their beans themselves and even supply beans to other shops in the area. strong, full-bodied coffee in a great location with both indoor and outdoor seating. the indoor seating is ideal for meetings or mobile work spaces, a perfect spot to work on-the-go and enjoy agoodcuppa. i had a latte, the friend had a rooibos cappucino both on standard, great cuppas. the big letdown came when we tried the carrot cake. it looked fantastic but looks can be deceiving... heavy and rough, not at all fluffy and lacking in flavor with the strongest taste coming from the cream cheese icing on top. carrot cake is supposed to remind you of home but this carrot cake was lacking. rather stick to the coffee!

if you're looking for somewhere to grab a decent takeaway coffee or even somewhere to sit down for a cup, i couldn't rate häzz highly enough! the fact that this little joint is buzzing all day is the first sign ofgoodcoffee! their skinny cappuccinos are amazing, they get the creme perfect and as an avid coffee drinker, this is the first sign ofgoodquality coffee and agoodquality barrister. this time i went for their red cappuccino... which didn't disappoint at all! i really can't fault them on anything, the location is convenient (being right near campus), the service is sharp and the coffee is great! do yourself a favour and stop by, you won't be sorry☕️👌🏼

located in town centre in quiet street. great coffee! they also serve agoodselection of tea. food a little dissapointing. i had a sandwich. not many options so not for the hungry, but guess you go to this place for the coffee. staff friendly but service on the slow side as they had their hands full due to a birthday party. will return when they are not so busy.

hands down my favourite coffee spot in stellenbosch. i have religiously been drinking hazz coffee every morning for the last four years, and would drive accross town some mornings to get my fix! not only is the coffee of execptional standard, but the baristas are extremely well trained, ensuring consistant, amazing coffees.

luyolo, the barista and 2014 national coffee little arts champion entertains me daily with his extensive range of cappuccino foam art (see collection of pictures - which he does on request if in agoodmood). you can always expect a relaxed vibe,goodmusic and always on wifi, making hazz the perfect place to catch up on some emails/ pretend to do some work as you sip on some of the best coffee (of fresh juice if you'd prefer) in town.
