great for cheap eats. let me tell you, quickly, that i understand the value of fine-dining. my mil was a french chef in nyc, so i love an opportunity to get dressed up and drop over $100 on dinner as much as the next guy.
hamburgao, is not that sort of place. but it is amazing. i moved to newark 2 months ago and immediately found this gem. it's cheap (you will eat til your full for $10) and the food is unique.
like everyone here is saying, the burgers are big (read:massive) but they don't sacrifice flavor for size. they're better than any american fast food burgerplacefor about the same price (minus dollar menus, but who trusts a burger that costs a dollar?!). a large order for fries is enough for 2 people and they are maybe the best fries i've ever had. i like them a little thinner than steak fries and crispy as hell.
last thing i'll say about hamburgao is that it's a greatplaceto spend an hour with buddies. it is a smallplacebut most people are so in-and-out with their food that you never feel like you're being rushed out for lack of tables. i usually go with a pal, spend an hour catching up over delicious food and spend 8 or 9 dollars (i usually don't get a drink).
what more could you want?!
