an absolute gem of a restaurant. great food and service. fantastic service, outstanding food/drinks, and wonderful atmosphere. perfect for a dinner date or drinks with your friends. the bar area is always lively and inviting. i bring friends here from out of town often and nobody has ever been disappointed. i can't wait to go back.

overworked single bartender equals poor service. one thing i hate is when a restaurant with a good sized bar tries to get away with one bartender so she can make a huge paycheck for the night yet customers at the bar wait many minutes for drinks or to order dinner. this sole bartender could not keep up but as a former big retaurnt owner i can tell u nothing is more important than getting a new walkin their drinks. i told the owner they clearly should have had a second bartend r on but she seemed disinterested. owner and female bartender both turned very defensive so why go back there when there's five other very good dining spots within walking distance like 401, galley hatch, ron bouches, old salt etc. this restaurant needs lesson in 101. bartenders are not an expense...they increase sales and keep customers happy

customer. love this wonderful restaurant! the food is excellent, the service is like no other,the drinks are amazing and we love brandon at the bar much better and good looking then the other burned out bartender.

best restaurant in hampton. i love going to hagan's because a) great food b) great service c) great drinks d)great decor. what else can you ask for. this place is a real geam! highly recommend. you will not be dissapointed.

excellent!. i just move to this area from california to be surprised by one of the best restaurants in town. hampton has by far hagan's grill that offers you a variety of food that is cooked to perfection a friendly staff and yes, dora who is always smiling and is great with all her customers. you must try the dora goddess salad among the lobster springrolls.

phil. what a wonderful and welcoming place this is. i brought some friends from work for some appetizers. our service was the best . the server gave us many recommendations for a light meal since it was late and everything came out on time and delicious. we all ordered ahi tuna, crab cakes, nachos and some burgers and a few delicious martinis. as we exit out the owner came to our table to make sure all was well...that was a very nice touch! we will go back!

as of 9/09, there is a new chef who has brought the place back after a disastrous period with a terrible chef. i had a shrimp risotto that was wonderful, as was my companion's swordfish.
