super good & their happy hour is great! margaritas are huge! good service, good food, definitely worth it and cheap prices! if you are looking for a laid back restaurant, thisplaceis great!

everything is grilled and fresh in front of you, perfect flavors with habanero peppers , it's busy cos it's great.
and that's the mark of a great restaurant.

excellent !!. ironically across the street from los sombreros where we got terrible service and food the previous night. thisplaceis in an iffy mini mall but the food and service was excellent !! make this yourplaceto try... family owned and much better than many other places in the high rent district.....

its the best!!!!. ok i live for mexican food i guess its a by product of growning up in el paso. all i can say is wow. there is nothing bad on the menu. the calamari tacos with change your life. they arent on the menu but you can ask for them. the stafflikes to get adventurous so if your up for it ask them to surprise you with something off the menu.....

thisplaceis a 10 plus, and unlike most fat laden mexcian food its so fresh clean there is no after meal crash from fat and grease.....

fantastic. thisplaceis great the food is fantastic and it is always very clean. my co-workers and i go about 3 times per week. my personal recommendation would be the breakfast burrito (any are good) also i have been watching my diet and they will substitue egg whites and a wheat tortilla for no extra charge. for lunch ,everything i have tried has been great but the blackened chicken burrito is my favorite. the staff takes the time to ask you how everything is and the food is very well priced. i would give habanero's two thumbs up. great place, people and awesome food!

great food and service!. i have eaten at habanero's quite a number of times now. it is quickly becoming my weekly go-toplacefor lunch. i highly recommend it to others looking for exceptional mexican food at a very affordable price.

been going to habanero's consistently for the past year and it's now my go-toplaceto take natives, guests from out of town, casual business lunches, etc etc. when people rave about it i want to be the person that helped introduce them to place.

for a first timer, recommend trying the "parrillada tampiquena" (don't worry, i can't pronounce it either but it's the only dish that is order by # of guests) ---- this is an unreal combination of 4 meats - steak, blackened chicken, carnitas, and chorizo. also included is potatoes, onions, and served family style with choice of black/pinto beans, rice, sour cream and guac !

the key to thisplaceis that it's all grilled made to order. meaning, you order, then they throw on the grill. the multi-hour marinated meats fire up incredibly fresh that will wow any taste buds.

also try their chorizo breakfast burrito which is served all day. this burrito has their famous chorizo (spanish sausage) that has a nice kick, potatoes, cheese, and egg ----- all grilled up in a burrito so hot you have to let cool before you can eat.

another tip: blackened chicken nachos but will warn, it may cause sharing issues in your relationship.

i love the chicken and fish tacos. the food here is fresh and full of flavor. tacos have just the right combination of crispness, meat and fresh greens. the restaruant is small yet has a nice feel to it and there is always someone there to greet you with a smile or ask you how your meal was which i appreciate. consequently, service is good and theplaceis very clean. prices are reasonable and they always have a cool special going on but i love my tacos so much i have yet to stray to the specials. maybe next time. noticed they also serve breakfast so my family and i will give that a try this weekend. highly recommended.

fantastic carnitas burrito. wow what a delicious burrito for the price. im a titanium member at the scottsdale gun club so i wondered by thisplaceafter shooting one day and ordered the shredded pork burrito which i found to be loaded with flavor. the food is fresh and while the location is a little hard to find its worth it if you are looking for a good value and you love carnitas or fish tacos. the restaurant is small however the outdoor seating helps to accomadate the many folks who have heard about this little gem and keep returning much like myself. i've been back a few times to try some of the other items and they are really good and most importantly fresh as well. recently, i visited for another round and the owner even remembered my name which was very impressive but most notable is that he really cares about the quality of food they put out here. no hype just great food at fair prices.

good stuff. i got to sample the shrimp and carnita quesadilla, and they both rocked.

i was skeptical when my wife introduced me to this place. the storefront looks plain, and the menu items were cheap. theplacewas packed though, and we got our food fairly quickly. seemed to me the quesadilla was enough to serve two, i was stuffed.

can't wait to try the other stuff, if i ever make it back to the east side.

fresh, delicious, and priced right. not the most diverse menu, but certainly something for everyone. the food is made-to-order, and from scratch so don't expect the typical 3 minute turnaround from the kitchen. the meal was huge, and cooked to perfection. this is no on the border, or abuelo's. for a small unassumingplacetucked into a strip shopping center, i was overwhelmingly impressed with the quality of the food. don't pass this one up!
