great food. just ate at habanero's- the setting is nothing special, but the food was great and a great bargain. not very busy at night but another couple getting take-out in front of us in line said it was very busy at lunch.
no table service- you order and they bring it to you- kind of like really good fast food.
will be going again!

its the best!!!!. ok i live for mexican food i guess its a by product of growning up in el paso. all i can say is wow. there is nothing bad on the menu. the calamari tacos with change your life. they arent on the menu but you can ask for them. the stafflikes to get adventurous so if your up for it ask them to surprise you with something off the menu.....

this place is a 10 plus, and unlike most fat laden mexcian food its so fresh clean there is no after meal crash from fat and grease.....

it does not get any better.

great food. i have never had a bad meal here... and considering i've had about 500 of them at habanero's, i would say that they are doing something right. try the carnitas, they are amazing, and i usually can't eat just one helping...

the 23% or so of those that voted they didn't like it probably work for a competitor, because i can't imagine how anyone couldn't like what they offer. everything is fresh, and really fast, unless you go during the lunch rush and they have 75 orders ahead of yours. this is a must try for anyone that works close by...

great breakfast. excellent service and food. a family atmosphere that puts quality into every food item i have ordered. the breakfast burritos are pheonomenal. great food for a great price. they even have the bottled cokes!!!! highly recommended. get going! now! what are you waiting for!!!?

fantastic. this place is great the food is fantastic and it is always very clean. my co-workers and i go about 3 times per week. my personal recommendation would be the breakfast burrito (any are good) also i have been watching my diet and they will substitue egg whites and a wheat tortilla for no extra charge. for lunch ,everything i have tried has been great but the blackened chicken burrito is my favorite. the staff takes the time to ask you how everything is and the food is very well priced. i would give habanero's two thumbs up. great place, people and awesome food!

great food and service!. i have eaten at habanero's quite a number of times now. it is quickly becoming my weekly go-to place for lunch. i highly recommend it to others looking for exceptional mexican food at a very affordable price.

been going to habanero's consistently for the past year and it's now my go-to place to take natives, guests from out of town, casual business lunches, etc etc. when people rave about it i want to be the person that helped introduce them to place.

for a first timer, recommend trying the "parrillada tampiquena" (don't worry, i can't pronounce it either but it's the only dish that is order by # of guests) ---- this is an unreal combination of 4 meats - steak, blackened chicken, carnitas, and chorizo. also included is potatoes, onions, and served family style with choice of black/pinto beans, rice, sour cream and guac !

the key to this place is that it's all grilled made to order. meaning, you order, then they throw on the grill. the multi-hour marinated meats fire up incredibly fresh that will wow any taste buds.

also try their chorizo breakfast burrito which is served all day. this burrito has their famous chorizo (spanish sausage) that has a nice kick, potatoes, cheese, and egg ----- all grilled up in a burrito so hot you have to let cool before you can eat.

another tip: blackened chicken nachos but will warn, it may cause sharing issues in your relationship.

amazing! authentic!. this is a great authentic mexican joint. the employees are friendly and they treat you like family. the food is so fresh and cooked to your preference, which you cannot get any any fresh-mex place. my mouth just waters when i think of habanero's!

i love the chicken and fish tacos. the food here is fresh and full of flavor. tacos have just the right combination of crispness, meat and fresh greens. the restaruant is small yet has a nice feel to it and there is always someone there to greet you with a smile or ask you how your meal was which i appreciate. consequently, service is good and the place is very clean. prices are reasonable and they always have a cool special going on but i love my tacos so much i have yet to stray to the specials. maybe next time. noticed they also serve breakfast so my family and i will give that a try this weekend. highly recommended.

awesome fajita's. i had the fajita's recently at habenero's and they were unbelievable. a huge plate full of chicken and veggies! the salsa is home made and delicious!!

the best!!!!. all my coworkers go here for lunch 3-4 times a week... i have only joined a couple of times...however i couldn't get out fo the office today ... they brought me lunch... omg the best taco's ever!!!!
i can't thank the chef enough and to keep up the best mexican food ... we salute you!!!

great!!!. we eat at habanero's all of the time for lunch. we love everything on their menu and everything is so reasonably priced. they have the best salsas and always provide great service. i highly recommend it to anyone looking for great mexican food.

habanero's is muy bueno!!. i visit "hab's" often and the tempiquena's are off the hook!!!!

for breakfast, any of the breakfeast burritios are delicious too. always, great service and a top notch mexican at great prices.

there is a reason there's long lines out the door daily for lunch. these guys rock!

the best mexican food in the valley. habanero's is scottsdale's best kept secret. i've been to almost every mexican restaurant in scottsdale and quite a few in the phoenix area, and habanero's is hands down the best.

unlike other mexican "fresh" grills, these guys are the real deal, and their prices aren't bad either.

my favorite is the breakfast burrito, which is available all day. they also have incredible nachos that come served with tons of toppings like guacamole, sour cream, black beans, jalepenos and real melted cheese.

the people are really nice every time i go in and always go out of their way to make the food great every time.

prices are great, especially if you live in north scottsdale and want a break from the often overpriced casual restaurants in the area.

lunch is always packed but it's well worth the wait. for a more relaxing time try going in the morning and enjoying a breakfast burrito or at night for a great casual dinner.

their sampler plate is also great (they have a 2 or 3 person version) and you'll most likely have leftovers.

there isn't a salsa bar because these guys are too busy making real mexican food on the grill instead of trying to distract you with 17 kinds of salsa behind a sneeze guard. their salsa is pretty good though and tastes especially good on the breakfast burritos.

i dare anyone reading this who normally goes to some of the larger chains to give habanero's a try and trust me you'll have a hard time eating any other mexican food from then on.

note: it's located in the scottsdale airpark area, which is kind of confusing, so you'll wanna google map it or punch it into your gps to make sure you find it the first time.

p.s. guacamole is also very good

great food, great service. overall the experience was great, both the service and the food were excellent! you have to try the blacken shrimp tacos!!!!!
