perfect!. a friend suggested thegyrocompany and we have become firm fans. no where else in saint louis can you get such wonderful food at such good prices from such lovely people!
the gyros are packed full of goodies, and the staff eager to "customize" them to the customer's liking, as if they are cooking for friends.
we absolutely recommend thegyrocompany; once you try their food, your only problem will be the cravings you will develop and what to choose next!

totally unexpected!. this little deli has the best gyro's i have ever tasted. for under $7 you get a huge sandwich full of delicously seasoned beef, lettuce, tomato, onions, feta, and the greek sauce. it was so good, and warm and fresh. this was thegyrosupreme, the rest of the menu sounds as delicious. the place is very small, take out would be best but totally worth it!

awesome, awesome place!!! this really hit the spot when i had been craving a real gyro! my first time here and was not disappointed! the owners are friendly and the food was delicious and prepared fresh! the restaurant only has a few tables but we went at 1:30 and didn't have a problem getting a table. a lot of people came through for carry-out. i can't say enough about how tasty thegyrowas (and took a baklava to go). the pita was soft and pillowy, the meat generous and flavorful. at $6.95 it is a great price...add $2.25 for fries (fried fresh) and soft drink (coke products).

was recommend. a co-worker recommend this place so i drove all the way south thinking i would have a greatgyrofor dinner, the opposite very disappointed. people were nice not the bestgyroand i had a piece of chocolate cake that was dry.

yummy!!!. i was told that thegyrocompany was the ultimate in gyros. tried it along with falafel balls as an appetizer (chickpeas ground up with another vegetable and shaped into what looks like meatballs) delish!!!!

they also make baklava and tiramisu for dessert!!! both to die for. i have made baklava before and i know how difficult it is to make.

i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try gyros, you won't regret it!!!

this spot will replace the void of my beloved gyros house. since the gyro's house in the loop closed due to untimely death of owner, i've had a hard time finding a replacement. however after reading the reviews here i gave this place a shot. to my relief, i've found it! thegyrosupreme was 'delish' & the family is delightful. thanks urbanspoon reviewers!

loved it!. absolutely awesome! ordered thegyrodeluxe. first of all, it's huge! i only got thru 1/2 of it and ordered an extra pita to go for all the extra meat i had. flavors were really good. i loved that fact that the meat did not have a "gamey" taste which i often find when eating gyros at other places.
it's not a full sit down restaurant, but there are small tables available if you choose to eat there.

so delicious! came here after reading the reviews on urbanspoon and yelp and we were not disappointed. friendly customer service and tasty food. had the supremegyroand the hummus. delectable! would recommend this place and will definitely be back for more soon!!

small shop on gravois near hampton worth trying! the staff is very friendly & willing to make any adjustments to the menu. but you can't go wrong with thegyrosupreme. they've recently added later summer hours. you can call in your carry out orders. it's cheaper than most greek restaurant and just as good if not better. warning - eating here may make it harder to shop for groceries across the street without craving gyros!

do not pass this place up!!! we found this place on urbanspoon and decided to give it a try and we couldn't have been happier. the place is small but very clean, the workers are as nice as they come, and the food is amazing!! the prices were cheaper than most fast food places but everything was so fresh. we lived in germany for a few years and used to have doner kebabs all the time and this is the first one we have had here in the us that was better than those! hint: thegyrois with pita bread and the doner is made with this huge roll (hard to describe because we don't have anything like it here). i'd skip thegyroand get the doner--you won't regret it. they also have pizzas, wraps, subs, salads and desserts. i wish we lived here; we would eat here often.

bestgyroin st. louis. friendly service, low prices, huge portions, fresh ingredients but what makes this place the best is the tzatziki, it take thegyroto the next level. this place is the best kind of hole in the wall restaurant. the focus is the food and every person i've shown this place to comes back for more.

awesome food!!!! and the customer service was great. we had the classicgyrowith fries and i couldn't finish it because of the generous portion sizes. will definitely have to come back asap!

wow!. you would never figure this little place would be able to deliver such a big punch! i used to live in germany and ate doner kebabs all the time and was very skeptical of eating one here in the u.s. this is my first one i've tried since coming back stateside, needless to say i won't need to look elsewhere for the authentic thing. if you have never heard of a doner kebab, even better, go to thegyrocompany and give one a try.

gyro supreme. the bestgyronot only in st. louis area, but the best in the midwest. (maybe the world excluding greece)
