gypsy resto cafe

got to know from a colleague, slightly far from thevizagcity near rushikonda. however, ''aroma kitchen'' catches our eye before ''gypsy resto cafe''.

lot of space for open parking, not vallet. they do serve at the parking inside the vehicle if you are sceptical about mingling with the crowd.

ambience out here is pretty cool as we have options to dine in the open with hung patio lights as well as ac (only ground floor operational, first floor not yet opened it seems). centralised ac dine in family friendly facility was chosen for the dine in.

a great place to hang around and spend quality time with friends and family alike as they had decent crowd both young and old with more young adults.

welcomed by the steward with a quite comprehensive menu (check pics) & we got to know from him, main attraction to be *wood fried pizza*, and ordered one bbq chicken pizza straight away. then, chicken panipuri shots caught our eye got added asap. thread chicken & french fries were added post discussion with the steward. also tried affogato i.e coffee shot with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.

went at pretty peak time around 8:00 pm, got it quite fast. great presentation and yummy food, especially, thin, soft based wood fried pizza just the right mix of cheese, jalapenos and toppings, prepared in a designer tandoor (check pics). they also cater for your custom requirements. though the sourness was on the higher side for the chicken panipuri, it gave us the kick or having something closer to vodka shots. threaded chicken was slightly bigger portion for a couple family, found it to be unique.


noticed their no smoking board to be hilarious (check pics).

visit post 6pm for better crowd.
carry card for hassle free transactions.
found to value for money, better portion vis-a-vis money.

the only place invizagwith ambience goals !

definitely visit at evening times to get the best experience out of the place..

the stars are genuinely for the ambience and interiors.. they need to improve alot on the food..

i'd say it is overrated.. prices doesn't equal the food quantity and taste..

the food we had didn't live up to the ambience..

underwhelming portion size..

but what little was on the plate was delicious..

they had an elaborated menu.. of which we tried
1) mocktails - green apple lemonade , blue angel , classic mojito - around 150/- each
2) vanilla late coffee - 130/-
3) onion rings - 180/-
4) spicy chicken bites - 280/-
5) fish fingers - 270/-
6) chicken nh5 - 295/-
7) gyspy special - bang bang chicken wings - 295/-
8) calzone chicken pizza [ wood fried ] - 340/-
9) hash browns - 45/-
10) butter chicken with steamed rice - 275/-
11) mango smoothie - 170/-

all the mocktails and coffee were amazing.. mango smoothie consistency wasn't thick.. it was okayish..

spicy chicken bites and fish fingers tasted below average..

pizza was different , tasted okay but the portion size is very disturbing.. 4 slices for 340 rupees ? c'mon guys .. you could do better..

onion rings were scrumptious !

butter chicken with steamed rice was good !

hash browns were bad !

must try - coffee's , mocktails , chicken nh5 , bang bang chicken wings .

you can go there solely for the ambience and coffee.. please work on the food taste & portion size !

so finally a huge resto cafe with superb ambience 💯 located after sagar nagar and it's easy to find. cool atmosphere great place to chill out with friends, especially the students from gitam and gvp come more often here, located far from thevizagcity, but it's really a great place to chill out with friends and family. ambience is what attracts most of them to come here!

coming on food i had nh5 chicken, pizza's, pasta... chicken nh5 was good with the touch of spicyness, coming on pizza, i had chicken bbq pizza i really didn't like there pizza, pizza portion was good but they have to improve on the pizza crust and toppings, the topping are very few hardly you will find 4-5 bell pepper slice's and very small chicken chunks.

pastas are damn good 💯 must try there pasta's i had penne alfredo pasta and penne pink sauce pasta 😋 pasta's were finger licking good 🤟

overall a decent, cool and peaceful place for smokers and non-smokers.

"gypsy" the name suggests ,a free spirited person. just like the name suggests , they serve food that pleases your spirit .
first interesting thing you notice is amazing ambiance , presence of sea breeze as it's very close tovizagbeach 🌊 and outdoor seating with beautiful lights , this would be perfect place to go to a date 👫 , or with your friends , family or colleagues .
second interesting thing is , it's only cafe invizagthat serves wood fired pizza . this gives a unique flavor as it gives a smoky flavour that can't be produced in normal pizza oven 🍕
"chicken satay" 🍗 which i ordered is best chicken starter i had invizag. chicken is so tender and spice is exact . the mayonnaise which they prepare on their own tastes awesome . when you dip the chicken in mayonnaise and taste it , it feels like heaven .
"closed chicken pizza" which is wood fried pizza is must try and definitely not to be missed .
"butter chicken and jeera rice" 🍚 is so yummy with right amount of spices , you can't get that taste anywhere else invizag.
car parking is huge which is rare invizag, strongly recommended to visit after 6pm for romantic feel of ambiance with outdoor seating & lights .
