decent prices for good breakfast fare. sitauted nicely near historic areas of savannah, we loaded up & took a nice stroll. many healthy options.

how does this place stay open?. who are the people that give this place a great review? a 5 day stay in savannah and 3 trips to the bakery have made me wonder how this place stays open. monday morning at 9:30, the owner made me feel rushed and hustled me through the line. when i inquired about the sandwiches for lunch i got a curt response and felt dismissed. not very smart when your picture is posted all over. wednesday at 7:00 i entered and found no one to even take my order. after waiting a few minutes i was approached by eva and my order taken. how can it take 15 minutes to get my food when i am the only one in the place, stike two. my wife talked me into going back on friday. this time i was greeted with a smile but it was 2 pm. i still found the logistics odd, food arriving in stages. soggy microwave quiche on the tray. it is cold by the time the eggs arrive. and why toast my bread while i am paying for my order, when my eggs take 15 minutes to cook? i still had to wait for the sandwich, three items from three different places. i did not like this at all. and when i mentioned this to shanon she seemed aggrivated. i am glad to be going back home this weekend, goosefeathers will not be missed.

great pecan sticky buns. great find for breakfast. avacodo tomato basil quiche, eggs benedict and finished with a buttery sticky bun. heading back tomorrow to get some baked goodie's to go. 2 small quacks... i don't like any crust or bread warmed in a microwave. didn't get to stop them before they stuck the quiche in the nuke therefore a soggy crust. counter girl started to put the sticky bun in and a quick whoa kept her from destroying the bun.. uch. and the "refill" line for coffe and soda's can get kinda busy. they need those pump setups for self serve and a convection oven for warming their baked goods. maybe some other adds for coffe like cinnamon or 1/2 qnd 1/2.
i'll make this amust stop when i return to savannah

perfect salads and sandwiches. we stopped in here while on a brief trip to savannah. what a pleasant surprise. the salads are made of a fresh variety of beautiful greens and the dressings - yum. everyone at our table enjoyed their sandwiches. this small cafe is a gem. we will definitely stop here again when we are in savannah.

great lunch. i've been twice so far and will go again. the black bean burrito is great and huge. bread is not that great but i haven't tried the baked goodies yet.

i would not go back. after standing in line for 15 minutes i finally got to the front and the tall blond took a phone order over me... while she was on the phone another girl came and started to take my order only to be interrupted by the cashier (owner picture on the menu) walking away from the register. the girl disregarded me and moved into the cashier spot and a small child appeared out of no where to stand and look at me. it was like a version of the three stooges.... a really bad version... after getting my order taken, it came out wrong... what a suprise right? the shrimp and grits were ok but cold and the waitresses were pushing back and forth thru the line. it was too much chaos for me. i was disappointed after i was referred by the valet at my hotel and he said it was great. go to ambrosia instead, same food and a nice small cafe.

great cafe for breakfast & lunch. always a nice selection to choose. enjoy the egg on croissant, the honey ginger chicken, any deli sandwich, quiche and the yummy cookies & muffins!

okay. the food was decent but i hate standing in line to place my order. too much egg on the egg sandwich - i would have toasted or heated the croissant a little too & not nearly enough bacon. the sandwich was tasty enough but out of balance. was expecting more after reading all the good reviews.

great food, many vegetarian options, soup in a bread bowl is exceptionally good.
