a popular breakfast option amongst my mediaworks brethren. this cute cafe on the corner of symonds st & mt eden rd is nothing short of amazing. thestaffare always friendly and the bagels are to die for! they make a mean mocha here too. there isn't a tonne of seating options but they make do with what they've got; not that it matters to me though, i only work down the road and i'm more than happy to spill salmon & cream cheese all over my keyboard

what’s not to love? their food is amazing, my faves are the wilbur, the cab, the blat and the bene bagel! they serve great coffee and scrumptious smoothies! thestaffare always super friendly too

fast service, very attentivestaffand always delicious! highly recommend this place, have been here three times in the last two weeks. only wish there was more seating, but otherwise this place is perfect.

come here often, thestaffis quick and friendly. food is always good, sometimes amazing but occasionally at peak times and bacon and egg is a little overcooked other than that really great!

definitely the best bagels and coffee. generous amount in the bagels and thestaffreally great, will definitely be going back to try another bagel and an iced coffee.

came here on a weekday afternoon and didn't have difficulty finding a table. however seating area is very limited and many people usually do takeaways. love their coffee and bagels are delicious.staffare friendly and check back on you. also love the fact that they've got a clean toilet inside.

if you want a great coffee in auckland this is one of the best. the place is tiny but thestafffriendly and efficient, keeping their customers happy and coming back for more. food is also pretty delicious. there is a small car park beside the place.

they have a massive bagel selection to cater for everyone, including pregnant women! however, the highlight is their coffees, one of the best soy flat whites i’ve ever had! thestaffare super friendly too so what’s not to love about this place.

yes, this place. my boyfriend and i have nursed many a hangover at gg eden terrace. i like to sit outside to people watch, but have sat inside the last couple of visits and felt our experience was enriched by thestaffbanter - it seems like an epic place to work at because of the culture & people.coffee is consistently great, i'm obsessed with the dinky small-town nz teaspoons that come out with it, also you can buy beans to take home!

i haven't tried a bagel here that i didn't like, but most of the time i can't resist ordering the cab (they will add tabasco if you ask, which you should). you get a heckin huge pile of chicken, bacon, and avo with aoli + rocket for eleven dollars, aka chump change. other special mentions include the classic (hot smoked salmon aww yee), the vege, and bf always gets the chilli con carne which is uuge and delicious. got so excited writing this that we are going to head in for lunch soon haha. see you soon goodness gracious, love you xx

the bagels here are some of the best in auckland! portions sizes are generous and thestaffis amazing and the bagels so tasty! i learned that everything is house made (except the bagel) which makes the experience all the better!

i have had many of the bagels so far but my favourites have to be the kransky (with a poached egg) and the louie(so spicy it's amazing).

the juices are also really great, all fresh and tasty.

both stores (mt eden and parnell) are fantastic.

absolutely love this place! perfect for a quick bite/first date/easy breakfast if you live centrally. nice atmosphere and thestaffare effing awesome!! highly recommend this place. only downside is lack of parking but nowadays it doesn't really matter. 100% love it

great coffees and the cab bagel was sooo so good.
chicken was nice and creamy and the bacon was crispy and perfectly salty.
filling, too. usually one bagel isn't gonna do it for me, but this one was on point, yo.

great place to bring your dog as well, and thestaffwere very welcoming with a little tray of water for the pup.

only downside is the bus route that goes by right outside, so it gets a little noisy.

small but mighty is goodness gracious. a couple downsides but always a pleasurable experience.

i had one girl serve me the first time i went in who came across as cold and uninterested in being there but apart from her, allstaffhave been attentive and interested in us having positive dining experiences.

the coffee has been consistently good and silky. the bagels are top notch and so cheap considering how much other places charge. they're also put together for you instead of having to piece it together once served. like, how many more steps do we really need between buying the food and getting it inside my face??

as said in my first sentence, goodness gracious is small. there's like 3 or 4 tables inside which run along the wall just across from the kitchen.staffwalk along there regularly which could be annoying. there's some longer bench seats outside that could fit perhaps 8 people at a table and then there's a couple of square wooden boxes with cushions that can be moved around. so, seating is slightly limited. also, there can be quite a bit of traffic. busses, cars, trucks. it's just down from an intersection which means traffic starting and stopping.

i would bump my rating up to 4.5 if they were at a better location. somewhere a bit more tranquil with music. perhaps some grass. the location and size are the issue.

summary: it can be noisy and seating can be scarce but on a sunny day, there's lots of blue sky to be seen outside. on a cold day there's wall mounted heaters. the bagels are delicious, well priced and ready to eat. the coffee is excellent. i definitely recommend and will absolutely be going back many times again.
