perhaps a little too much hype. approaching the restaurant i was immediately taken by the colorful festive atmosphere, and my wife and i lovegoodmexican ; which is almost non-existent around here. and , in fact , it was very friendly, lively withgoodservice. definitely a fun place to go.
however, the food was pretty unremarkable. perhaps it is was what we had , but i doubt it. even worse, the house margarita was below average. someone could give the bartender a quick lesson on what constitutes a "premium margarita". so, the restaurant has really made it on their atmosphere( which is very cool) but not the food. lets face it. how many people in north raleigh have actually tasted real high-end mexican. i f that is what you are looking for...go to jabarra, downtown. you won't be disappointed.
