this is a typical chinese restaurant located at the heart of manila area. it offers a variety of chinese cuisine such as the usual cold cuts, yangchow fried rice, sauteed fish fillet, spicy pork ribs , among others. price is affordable, serving is just enough and delicious but there are other better chinese restaurants in the area. but what i like about the place is their fast service and accommodating waiters and waitresses. ventilation should be improved. overall, this is an average restaurant that offers good choices for chinese cuisine lovers.

now golden fortune creates a golden moment after 9pm when they drop their dimsum prices at almost half price. well it's not like it's pricey to start with. it goes as low as php 55! madness.

their dimsums when discounted don't lose their hong kong taste. it's same quality. and you must try their spareribs and siomai. this restaurant also serves cantonese cuisine, the ones you and i love.

they serve good dimsum, noodles and mango sago. they give an authentic chinese feel. the staff was very attentive. the place is also quite clean.

we went here last night with my officemates to try their promo meals. and we were all surprised about the price and quality of the food they served. it was superb and has really an authentic taste of a chinese foodang. so many chinese people are dining and many of them getting shabu shabu in the table.

we very liked the restaurant, food and everything. their jasmine tea was so authentic for 40pesos unlimited na! definitely will come back to try their other noodles. :d

went here for dinner with the family. the place was neat. the food was of average quality when compared to other chinese restaurants. but the staff was highly commendable. assisted us from our reservation call, told us that our order was already enough for us, and served us all throughout with smiles. definitely recommend this for family or big groups!

we went here yesterday before going to the national planetarium. it was worth it! seems like this is the closest restaurant there is from the museums and planetarium aside from the surrounding fast food). the food and ambiance are good. the place (including bathroom) is also clean. will definitely go back if given the chance!

we had a great dinner at golden fortune. the food is superb and the menu gives a lot of delicious surprises. the staff are very attentive and kind. excellent service! they even gave us complimentary almond jelly. we will definitely come back!

always went here when we were being invited to attend an taoist temple event wherein they celebrate or gather together in this venue. food were ok and affordable which they served typical chinese cuisines.

this lovely chinese restaurant just at the side of luneta, near the national museum of natural history, is a mainstay on its own. i met my coworker here on her recommendation the food is great and she was spot on. 

first, they have most of my favorites (yay!) so we started off with my favorite green soup - mashed polonchay with seafood soup (p350). theirs is on the watery side but i don’t mind. it’s chock-ful of seafood bits and good-for-you minced, leafy veggies. it was mild and flavorful. wanting some meat, we had fried spareribs with salt and chili (p350). it was tasty and juicy pork spareribs, perfect with rice and some veggies, which we opted for brocolli flower (p300). at this price range, it’s a bit pricey for blanched veggies but it must be the rising cost of goods. they did look fresh so i won’t be picky about it. 

i don’t know if i should call shrimp salad (p550) dessert but i’m glad this did not have mangoes in it. the shrimp were plump and the cream and fruits in it were not watery. it’s also a pleasant surprise for the restaurant to be giving us free almond jelly to finish off our meal. it was a sumptuous meal of comfort food with great service. they deserve to be there for a long time.

place/staff: we have been going to this place for more than 10years now, staff are still consistently fast and accommodating
food: they still have the best beef/lamb hotpot, their vegetables are fresh and crunchy.. overall good

celebrated our mom's 80th birthday here. lunch with the whole family. very good dining experience. courteous & accommodating staff. good food, chinese dishes never fail us, & the best part of it was we were allowed to put our birthday decors in the room. service crew are well trained to take our group pic. another plus factor. lol

we loved the food here especially when the dimsum promo started.. what i dont like here is the service.. especially at night the seniors here are always in a hurry to take your orders.. after we sat down and see the paper menu of the dimsum they will right away ask whats the order..

golden fortune in kalaw, ermita, manila used to be a good place but now it is under construction and the dining area was reduced to a small conference room. the food quality deteriorated from years ago. it is now become a sad excuse for a chinese restaurant. i hope they improve it real soon.
