i had come here around a month or so ago and found it over full. finally decided to try my luck this time and got ample seating. i reserved my table before hand by calling the manager up directly. following summarizes my review for this place-:

ambiance- a very different style of ambiance. this place as blue walls and chairs and tables and sometimes sofa and tables. lighting is nice and yellow. it has a bar at the entrance but they serve just mocktails. it has a nice and funky ambiance. 4.5/5

service- servers are very attentive and get all food in a reasonable amount of time. some of them even know the menu well. they also serve you unless you decline it. 5/5

food- we tried the following-:

cream of broccoli soup- this was pureed broccoli with cream and almond slices on top. it perfectly matched the description they gave. if you like broccoli like me, you will like the soup as it tastes exactly like roasted broccoli. it is accompanied with 3 small pieces of buttered masala khakra. i wish they could give a piece of garlic bread instead as the khakra is negligible in quantity. priced at 195/-, going 1 by 2 is agoodoption. 4/5

malai paneer tikka- ample pieces of paneer tikka for 2, this is served with onion rings, lime, chutney and some grilled bell peppers. paneer tikka could have been grilled more for a tastier deal. if you like spices, then this one is not for you. 3.5/5

dal pakwaan from chembur- i am a sindhi and miss my mom's dal pakwaan who is in another city. i was expecting a similar taste but the dal was very bland with no proper taste. there was too much dal and the pakwaans had their center portion broken. i really didn't like this one and wish they made it in an authentic way. they served some chutneys but that did nothing to save this dish. priced at 295/-, skip this. 1/5

cheese garlic bread- 6 slices of baguette topped with melted mozzarella and served with mixed herbs and ketchup, this on wasgoodand can be definitely ordered. it retailed at 175/-. 4.5/5

indian sizzler- this was served on cabbage leaves. it had paneer tikka achari, some kebabs, biryani and some other indian starters in it. it tasted good. can be ordered. 4/5

hot dark chocolate- seeing the high price of 220, we ordered this one but it was simply milk mixed with a lot of cadbury drinking chocolate and chocolate sauce topped with a layer of foam. the milk was very thin and i suspect they mixed water in it. the chocolate sauce was settled at the bottom. it was not at all dark chocolate and not worth 220. skip this. it was too sweet as well. 2/5

pros-:

1) nice ambiance
2) polite and knowledgeable waiters.
3) some of the dishes as mentioned above weregoodand made the experience worth while.
4) location is good.
5) vast menu with some unheard dishes.

cons-:

1) pricey.
2) the hot chocolate was notgoodas it can be made at home with 1/4th the cost and it was too sugary.
3) dal pakwaan can be worked upon. dal was too bland. also, they should serve complete pakwaans rather than chopping the center and trying to make it look fancy.

will i come here again? of course. so many more dishes here to try.

for caesar salad: only lettuce with sliced almond topping and bread crumbs
no bell pepper, no olive.

for mongolian godwit: the taste wasgoodbut the portion size was less no exotic sauce that they serve in restaurant were delivered.

dahi and chatni was very very less..it seems to be no dahi..

this visit to godwit today was a letdown. we ordered pizza bianca and indian sizzler. the pizza wasgoodas usual, but their sizzler was downright disappointing.
the rice tasted stale, so did the cutlet which looked like it had been refried and served! the veggies weren’t crispy either.
to add to it, when i asked for the manager to give a feedback, nobody showed up either!

i was pleased to hear back from the restaurant regarding the issue i faced. and ai happened to visit again, and was recognised instantly and the service and food was on target this time. we tried a variety of north indian dishes like hara bhara kebab, naan papad, dal tadka (which was very very scrumptious), paneer tikka masala, and lemonade, all of which was great. glad to be there this once!

as the name suggests, it's a mix of both red and white sauce pasta, perfectly blended, topped with cheese, proves as a delight for our taste buds, served with flavored buttery toast oregano & chilly flakes sprinkled, and it's quantity was alsogoodenough as for its price, it's a bit costly but it is a must try once especially,if you're a pasta lover.😋👍

traveling is like the catalyst that initiates the urge to explore. what can be a better way to start this journey of exploration, rather than food?

yes, presenting the first destination, where we hopped for lunch, namingly the godwit cafe. located at second floor, opposite to pvr, magnetto mall, can be the place that gives you both a feel of a cafe and a fine dine veg restaurant.

for me, when i visit a place, the ambiance, music and the hospitality is something which has a huge impact on my overall mood and expectations. so technically, when i entered, i saw a live coffee counter, arabica and imported coffee products serving us the real taste of coffee.
the second thing which grabbed the attention was the timely service and most importantly, i can see a very unique sitting arrangement, which gave a feel of cafe and fine dine both for anyone walking in.

it has a premium place for kitty parties and other parties and preset menu starting from 300 per person, during such parties.

coming to food, i tried a number of foods and beverages , out if which a few favourites are-
1. godwit khichudi-
when i heard the name, i started thinking that it would be a signature. though i was a bit skeptical about the fact that, it's khichudi and how the innovations to it will work. i was served the same, it was made out of black rice and arhar ki dal. this made the colour a bit darkish black instead of the traditional colour of khichudi. the flavours are well blended as well!
i would highly recommend to try this new blend.

2. chat bean salad- this would be my second favourite as, i can't think about healthy salad being this tasty . yes, the salad served over papad,comprising of three kinds of beans- chole, rajma and kidney beans. it is garnished with chat masala which adds to the tint of the taste as well and makes it a perfect and must have!

3. khao suey- this is a burmese cuisine and trust me, who doesn't like experimenting with taste?
it comes with a number of toppings and you can select rice or noodles, as per your preference to go with it. the quantity served was wholesome. you have a strong taste of lemongrass and coconut and a number of toppings to compliment it. so this would be like my third preference as well as a great main course to give you a great culinary experience.
coming to the beverages, i can see the live coffee making and a number of mohitos and shakes, which can be agoodoption too!
the godwit mint mohito can be the signature one to try as you can get the exact colour of their logo and theme.

and yes, the most important part, i cannot stop myself from sharing the offers. you park your car and get the discount of the price you pay for the parking or book a ticket at the pvr and get additional discounts.

so, whenever you feel you want to go for shopping? or maybe you are here for the first time like me or someone who's in search of agoodplace for food? trust me, this place can give you an impeccable culinary experience like never before!

one of the most promising vegetarian place in the city which has tried to include every possible cuisine, so you have something or the other for everyones's craving. a little high on price but the service and the food is worth a visit. i love the khow sey and i think they are reallygoodwith their thai, burmese and indian servings.

modern interiors, welcoming vibrant vibe and a smiling staff welcome you here. being a birder, the name itself drew me to this restaurant! the staff was very helpful and knew the menu well to help us with the selection. all their advises were spot on! the cafe has a very modern european feel to it.
we were a group of 8 and tried indian, italian as well as chinese fare. the food itself is absolutely brilliant - huge on flavours,goodportion sizes and as authentic in taste as it could be. loved it.
the restaurant scores on all fronts...
will i be back here? absolutely when i am in raipur next ... hope they open up in pune soon actually

located in magneto mall next to pvr cinemas this restaurant is one of thegooddining place.
visited today evening with family and they had a offer of based on article 370. offer was if anyone eats indian cuisine of rs.370 one kashmiri pulaov would be offered for free. i liked that offer..though we couldn't avail it as we went in evening and didn't have main course.
we ordered one club sandwich , one gudie basket - assorted box of indian evening snacks like pakoras , potato wedges etc , spring roll with panner bhurji filling and karol bagh ke cholle tikki chat and in beverages tried one capacino.all th dishes and coffee were upto mark and delicious.
only 1 comment that the assorted basket is charged quite high for 350 bucks but the quantity served is very less.
they could improve on this.
food quality and taste is verygoodand it's prices are also little on high end.
overall agoodexperience and would like to visit again.

this cafe is about four months old.
located at magneto, the cafe is modern, colorful, cute and cosy. they have a really quirky menu and offer pure vegetarian food. their items are quite different and fresh en comparant.
the staff is welcoming, warm, attentive and polite, always happy to serve.
we ordered messy mexican burger and makhni pizza. they take about 15-20 minutes to serve and they do agoodjob at the presentation.
the burger was delicious. french fries and coleslaw were served as side.
the portion size is pretty big. the veggie patty was crunchy, covered salsa beans, laced with roman lettuce, cheese and nachos. the buns were toasted as well. all together provided agoodcrunch.
the pizza had a thin crust, had cheese, broccoli, zucchini and mushrooms. was topped with makhni sauce. the ingredients play well together. and taste really good.
we'd be visiting this place pretty soon to try some more items off their menu.
