the food here is ahmazing! i never expected this little jewel which was described to me as a "turkey wing" place. it is not.... it is amazing soul food done right!!! my only complaint is desserts are advertisers and rarely available, no big deal. except when you offer a unique variety of cookies by the dozen!! i can see them not having them here and there but they have never had them when i have been there and i have visited at various times over various days. also staff can be unfriendly. they obviously want people there, but it feels sometimes that they are very friendly to some and totally personality blank with others and when you really like a place this makes a difference because no one wants to feel as if they are bothering the staff.... however the taste and quality of the food outweighs these two small complaints by far...

wow. i travel all over the country and use this app to find places close to where staying. i love smoked meats especially chicken and turkey. i ordered the wing meal and the turkey ribs because i couldn't decide which one i wanted. the meat flavor was perfect but adding the sweet n smokey sauce kicked it up a notch. i can't remember having better wings or smoked turkey. staff was awesome and attentive to anything i needed. only problem i found was the feeling of eating to much.

excellent. had the pulled chicken sandwich. it was the best. people working there were very friendly. sad i don't live closer.

turkey ribs, huh? the best turkey i have ever eaten, ever. my bbq preference is usually more towards beef and pork. but i was blown away by these turkey ribs they have. i will be back for more and spreading the gospel of "turkey ribs" in the mean time. thank you gobblestop for a different and awesome bbq experience.

i’ve written about gobble stop smokehouse before, a family-owner bbq restaurant in creve coeur specializing in poultry, but i wasn’t happy with my photo of their turkey ribs. at least that’s the excuse i’ll use. i don’t have much to add to my last post – this place has the best smoked poultry in town.

good food, good people!. i just left the gobble stop... man, they know how to feed you! good food and nicely seasoned. and the proprietors are very friendly and just down to earth nice people. try it,you will most certainly like it! great cue!

turkey tips. fantastic

gobble stop has the best smoked turkey i've ever had. hands down. they're not shy about how good their smoked chicken is either. if you couldn't tell from my raving above, i very much enjoyed everything i ate, and service was excellent as well. i think it's rare that i find foods that i'm head over heels with, but gobblestop has certainly provided that. come to think of it, this thanksgiving, i think i'm likely to simply buy my turkey [and chicken] from them. i think after you try it, you might just be of the same opinion.

delicious!. we love the food! we drive regularily for two hours just to eat there. the staff is very friendly and polite. we have sampled almost the whole menu of gobble, gobble (lol) and we have no complaints at all.

can you believe it, time for another bbq post! gobble stop smokehouse in creve coeur opened in 2012 and i was confident it was going to fail.  why?  they serve only turkey and chicken.  how can you have a bbq place without any pork or beef offerings?!?!?  since they found a way to survive, i figured i better finally give it a try.  once i did, this place quickly earned a spot in my regular rotation of dining options. the dish i order the most frequently is the smoked wings.  take a peek at this: the wings have a perfect smoky flavor without being dried out. they serve them with a sweet sauce that they will put on for you or you can have it on the side.  they do have a spicier sauce available if you request it.  after eating these wings i don’t see a need to ever eat a breaded and fried wing again. one time i was so excited i didn’t wait to get home, i just opened the box outside at one of their tables and went to work!. i have tried a handful of the sides and all were satisfactory.  th

amazing goodness!!! i think my new favorite place and love its close to home!!!!! service was top notch filled with true kindness!!!

the turkey tips are awesome! great smoke flavor and good sauce. very nice employees as well.
