yummy!. after eating here at least 5 times, i can say i have never had a bad experience. i have never had a service issue, though don't expect the quickest service at sushi joints. great for take out; they have never messed up an order.

good food, slow service. ginza is not a restaurant to choose if you are in a hurry. the staff are very nice and friendly, but the service is slow. it's one of those things you just have to plan for.

the sushi chef, who i believe is the owner, does a great job. everything is nicely presented, and the ingredients are all high-quality. it's a little annoying that substitutions are not allowed (for example, the roll combo is a great deal, but you can't substitute regular tuna rolls for spicy tuna rolls -- so you're stuck with the spicy ones if you order the combo). but that's a minor complaint, really.

the other japanese dishes that i have tried (gyozu pot stickers, edamame, tonkatsu) are also good.

prices are moderate; dinner for two (without alcoholic beverages) will cost $30 to $40.

albany now has two sushi restaurants; i definitely prefer ginza. the sushi at momiji tasted ok, but not as good as ginza's.
