horrible! - ordered a pizza by phone from the 1479 general booth blvd gino's. . i ordered a simple one topping 18". she told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. i arrived right on time and paid. the girl told me my pizza was in the oven and would be right up. i waited several more minutes and checked on it again and was told it was in the oven. at about the 1 hour point i got up and stood by the counter. the chef looked in the oven and told me it would be right up. just when i was going to sit down i noticed the delivery boy come back in with two pizza's. he had left 20 minutes prior. i remember because he was a blonde shaggy haired teen and stuck out. i saw him talking to the chef and brought one of the boxes up to the counter and told me it was mine. they didn't think i saw what they were doing and i asked the lady about my pizza going out with the delivery boy. she said it had only been out five minutes. i felt the box and it was cold. i couldn't believe she wanted me to take it. i asked her one time for my money back and she said they could make another pizza. i told her no i didn't want to wait and i wanted my money back. i think she saw the other customers around who had witnessed this and didn't want a scene so she gave my money back. a couple of other things i noticed about the store was that it smelled. not a good resturant smell more a an oder of mold. they also had a trash can by the front door that stunk really bad when you went by it. no way am i going back. the prices may seem cheap but i guess you get what you pay for.

i am in love!. gino's has the best pizza i have ever tasted. it is so delicious i actually fight traffic going through the tunnel for about an hour just to get one of their pizza's. i haven't been to italy yet so i will not say it is the best in the world, but i cannot imagine having anything better. if i ever move out of va the thing that i would miss the most would be their food! everything i have tried there is fabulous but again the pizza is out of this world! if you miss ny and you want a taste of home, please, please do your self a favor and visit this place!

just discovered this place next to our favorite mexican restaurant. very good pizza! excellent calamari. uber-friendly service.

hands down probably the best pizza joint in virginia beach. i have been coming here for years & so do all the people in my job when we are working in the area. ny-style slices, can't go wrong their!!

good pizza!. this is our go-to for take-out... delivery is sort of slow but the pizza is great... thin crust... nice and cheesy. the stromboli's are huge for the price and the gyro's are good. an all around decent place!

just had a couple of the best slices i've had in a long time. excellent prices, friendly people...perfect. so glad to have found it...this is what urbanspoon is for! can't wait to come back and try something else.

i went here with my father on a sunday afternoon for a quick bite to eat...the food was fresh, cheap, and oh so good! we ordered two slices each and two teas and the bill was $11 even. the service was attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere is pleasant. they have a regular customer in me.

pizza was pretty good and really good prices
