i tried the meethi lassi from this place on my last visit to amritsar . it was just so good . the lassi was so creamy and had athicklayer of malai and was just the perfect amount of sweetness. the best thing is that it lies on the way to the railway station so we could get a quick takeaway while we were heading there. the lassi was just amazing and the quantity was good ,i couldn't have enough of it.

if you are in amritsar then simply don’t miss this place where you can get the best lassi.
this place is located in the gallis and somehow difficult to locate, they don’t have the seating arrangements and the place is kind of congested.

i had the normal sweet lassi which they made in front of our eyes and was the best lassi i had so far in my entire life.
the lassi was so rich,thickand full of makhan. this place is well known for the pedha lassi. i didn’t try the pedha lassi but took their pedhas to home and they were too good.

overall, go and grab the glass of lassi.

this is a very old shop of amritsar ,famous for lassi ,i ahd this during hot summer and really enjoyed thethicksweet lassi , must visit for lassi lovers

if you want authentic lassi, look no further than this place. it’s an institution, well known and loved among locals for here. this is also one of the few places serving amritsari special lassi, one with malai mixed in and butter on top. it’s not for the faint of heart, the lassi being extremelythickand fattening. however, this is by far the best tasting lassi i’ve ever had in the city.

although it has very good rating, but this is one of the most overrated places. we order full lassi, but it was extremely watery - notthickat all.

"amritsar aaye aur gian di lassi ni pii toh kya kia ?"

gian  di lassi is just awesome!! a huge glass ofthickcreamy lassi topped with lots of malai and butter. lassi here is too good. 
located in old market of amritsar , this place is great. one must visit this place without any second thoughts!

this place has been here for a very very long time!!
quite glad could visit it on my trip to amritsar!!
though it's not something that you'll want to come all the way to amritsar for but regardless it was good!!

i went her from delhi and believe me it was not at all that i was expecting. lassi was cheap and tasty but it was not as good as that i was tried in delhi. malai and butter they out in it makes it good . lassi was reallythickamd dense and really had good taste but still there was no wow factor in it.

heard a lot about this place and it's famous lassi.
tried this as a last stop on our amritsar food walk.
place is crowded almost on all times of the day.
their lassi is surelythickand rich with loads of malai. however, i have enjoyed lassi at other places in amritsar better.

gian di lassi is another famous joint in amritsar! it’s also must part of your food walk in amritsar. city of foodies! i have really liked the way it is made andthickcream over lassi. you must take the spoon to eat cream.

how to go

take battery rickshaw once you finished with harmandir sahab darshan, that rickshaw wala will take you to gian di lassi n then kesar da dhaba.

when in amritsar, lassi topped with malai and white butter is a must.
gian di lassi or giani's di lassi are two shops located next to each other in the katra ahluwalia area. both of them have their walls lined with photos of famous celebrities, chefs and other who's who of the world that have visited their place. as the map taken from our hostel mentioned gian (without the 'i') di lassi, we also joined the throng of people enjoying the punjabi lassi at this place.

the best part about the lassi was that even though i had one full glass (makhan malai maar ke), it wasn't verythickor unsettlingly heavy.

must must visit!!

best lassi you get is this place.one of the auto driver took us here and i love the lassi there.the steel glass is huge and thethicklassi with malai and ghee is jus filling.i forced myself to have 2 glasses at one go and would recommend everyone to must try this one.the location is slightly crowded as it's middle of the market place.nearby many lassi points are there but this one stands for its taste.wud love to visit again.

it's an overhyped place. had heard a lot about it but seriously dint liked it. the sweet lassi was notthickand even the makhan over the top dint go well with that lassi. however the quantity was good quality could have been better.

for me, gian’s lassi is the best in amritsar
located in hall bazaar, it serves the lassi in two sizes of half and a full glass at very low prices
they have a small seating area as well

the drink is not too sweet or toothick(as i’ve noticed in other places that give you a sugar rush) and the best part is, they top it up with a good amount white butter and cream(malai). it is definitely high on calories & serves as a complete meal on its on.
the white butter is freshly made & i hope they start selling it separately too :d
