gabbiano italian restaurant

so i booked a table for 4 pers and i had already paid using zomato pro, i was expecting a buffet like the description, then it turned out it’s a completely different buffet. the one metnioned in the description included steaks, sizzling grills, live stations, pizza and pasta. unfortunately, there was only indian and arabic food. my invitees dont like this type of cuisine, we booked there expecting italian and steaks.
i instantly contacted zomato agents to find a solution, they were so rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. they did not offer any solution for more than 50 mins. so basically i waited there with my guests with more than 50 mins.
when no one responded, we ate fruits and desserts and left the place with a bas experience. the manager said we have to change the buffet everyday so it wont be the same and zomato pro did not help at all and i was the one who paid for nothing.

friendly staff, had a pleasant evening. felt bit pricey, otherwise a nice place.

very friendly staff, good food, and great ambience.. i have been there a few times and i really enjoyed my every visit to this place.. its a little expensive but they have happy hour offers also sometimes..

went for iftar buffet , there was no variety of food. only 4-5 main dishes , salad and sweet was great.
good thing i like was the beverage they have many and soft drinks , coffee and tea all was included.

ambience is really good, and the food is fantastic. i ordered risotto, steak and pizza. and not only that my experience became memorable because of humble staff chef varyan, ratikon and rusit. will come back again for sure!!

their pizza was out of the world. another favourite is the butterscotch banana pudding.
they had wide variety of yummilicious desserts and main course.

we’ve had lunch here in gabbiano. the service was great, the staff was attentive and friendly. all the food that we’ve had was amazing — the foie gras was definitely my favorite.

a must try italian restaurant in abu dhabi. excellent service with great food. we’ve tried their pasta, risotto, burrata salad, pizza and lamb, taste was perfect! serving was also big

excellent service with live music and great food.... we had the opportunity to try their thursday bbq night special that included a variety of dishes. a wide spread of almost 7 to 8 stations including the bbq stand that the chef keeps stocking up with hot and delicious skewers. it's a perfect place to hangout with your family and friends... indoor or outdoor seating, option is yours. outdoor seating allows you to opt for shisha, watch the live band and enjoy a meal under the stars. canal view is the best too...

how can i forget this place...i really love to go her its not because i love pasta,basically all their menu's are so delicious...it was so clean and i loved the place

had lunch here, the food was great with excellent quality. they have an excellent service crew. all i could say is it’s worth it. the only problem is menu online is not updated as of now. hopefully this will be updated soon. thanks again looking forward to dine here again soon.

dh and i came upon gabbiano a couple of years ago by chance while running errands in the district and were pleasantly surprised. we came back several times because of the good food, decent wine by the glass and swift, friendly service. last weekend we were to dinner (with friends) and it was a disappointment and an embarrassment, as my husband and i chose and recommended the place because of our previous good experience. mediocre wine, overcooked lasagna (hard as a brick!), oily pasta and slow service (our waitress even snapped at our friend when he tried to draw her attention while she was serving the neighbour table, after waiting for 20 min to request another drink). never again.
