went there on the back of the great reviews here in zomato. good to get there by 7pm if you don't want to wait for a table.
once we were sat and placed our food order, it was a pleasant surprise to see a steady inflow of people, both domestic and international tourists. this is a very popular place it seems.
we got our food and it matched the hype. the seafood (squid and fish) was fresh and prepared fantastically well in kerala style. they also do european and euro-kerala styles and hence the name 'fusion bay'.
to add to the great food is attentive service in a cosy environment. i'd definitely recommend this place for a meal when in fort kochi.

great food. and that's the long and short of it. crab roast was yum and so was jewish fish curry. handsome portions and soul satisfying. mosquitoes can bug a little but nevermind! recommended.

we landed up at fusion bay earlier than their opening time on a saturday night but received wonderful service. the waiter not just took our order but treated us to some delicious pumpkin soup as we waited. the restaurant has a good vibe and even better food. we ordered their beef curry cooked with roasted coconut paste and fish pollichathu--both of which were to-die for. the food was very flavourful and fresh and the service was decent for the saturday night rush the place had. i'd recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves good food and doesn't compromise on it.

easily the best meal we had in fort kochi. the menu is imaginative, the food is tasty, and the prices are reasonable. lots of vegetarian options. we ordered a mushroom vindaloo curry, a kidney bean dish with roasted coconut, and kerala rice. the portions were generous and it came with a complementary squash soup appetizer and coconut crepe dessert.

excellent syrian christian meals! whatever we had was freshly made - it took forever to serve but was very worth the wait. both, my malayali husband and i (not a malayali) thought the world of the food.

we did not really like the cut fresh fruit (dessert), but the quality of the set meals overshadowed everything. the menu says you get the main dish + rice + one vegetable dish. what we got was close to a full sadya spread! several thorins, avial, several pachdis, etc etc, along with the promised main dish and rice.

we are so going back whenever we come to fort cochin again!

came back for lunch the next day right before the flight - awesome crab roast and grilled sardines! we were not big fans of the appams - they were too thick and too hard.

visited this place for lunch as it was recommended by almost every person i had a word with in kochi! and i wasn't disappointed. if you're in fort kochi and are craving for some mouth watering sea food, this is the place that's worth a visit. my favorites from this small joint? the prawns fry in kerala style and fish pappas meal!

amazing food. we started with the pumpkin soup, which was simple and delicious. we moved on and ordered pineapple beef. i was expecting a mediocre attempt at fusion , bit it was brilliant! the prawns in mango curry was the other star attraction. full of flavor and spice. a big thumbs up for fusion bay.

this place is flocked by tourists.we go there often to taste some great seafood.

i tried their squid pepper sautee for starters and a seafood platter and jewish pepper chicken for main course. we were served a nice complementary pumpkin soup and a simple yet delicious coconut pancake. the squid entree was very good! (just a little too salty for my taste, but very good never the less) the seafood platter was very good too. the platter can easily serve 3 and i'd suggest you wait for the platter before you order anything more. (1000rs)

by the time we were done with the entree and the platter, we were quite stuffed. the jewish chicken had to go in the 'over eating' quota. and we didnt fnd the jewish chicken to be great. just something average. i wouldve given them 5 stars,...but for their price point, the decor fails to impress. the place is easily passable as just another eatery if it weren't for the tripadvisor ratings. i will go back for the seafood platter, salads and starters.

note: the preparations in the seafood platter were a bit on the oily side. so if you've got some health concerns, you may want to tell them in advance.

i literally searched for the best ranked restaurant n my home town. the food i had from there was tasting good. service was excellent. also the rates were reasonable too. the ambiance was just okay. and found a lot of improvement areas. may be i expected little more from a no.1 ranked restaurant.
