we went to eat here last night for the first time and it was an excellent dining experience. we started with the risotto and mozzarella cheese balls which we actually didn't care for. reading back my review at this point is pretty hilarious, but it gets better i promise. someone brought bread to our table (rolls to be exact) but instead of just putting them on the table, the guy placed one each on our small plates, which i thought was odd. the rolls were really good though. my partner and oldest son ordered french onion soup which they loved. i pretty much only eat chicken and unfortunately they only had one chicken meal; chicken picatta, so i ordered that but subbed my asparagus for grilled zucchini and squash. my youngest son ordered chicken strips and french fries (even though we didn't see that on the menu), my oldest son and partner each ordered the grass fed filet with asparagus. the filets were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. the asparagus wasn't the best asparagus they've had but no biggie. my youngest son's chicken strips looked so good i tried them and so did my partner and wow, they are amazing!!! he loved his meal! my chicken picatta was good, but i wish the chicken had more flavor, would be good if it were grilled! my parmesan mashed potatoes were incredible! so, we had seen someone getting desserts and they bring a tray of them over for you to look at. we were told that they are all made in-house and they looked incredible. my sons decided to get the peanut butter ganache and split it. my partner decided on the chocolate cake and had it split so i could take half of it home. when they brought the desserts to us they brought the ganache to both of my boys and the plating was beautiful! but we thought they didn't split it, that they brought them each one, however, when we asked our waitress she said that was one piece split...the pieces were still big! my partner said the chocolate cake was out of this world. she had ordered a cup of coffee as well and she said it was reminiscent of great coffee house coffee. we loved the relaxing and peaceful environment, the friendly staff, and the wonderful 40's jazz style music playing. if i could change anything, i'd have more appetizers that don't include seafood or fish, and i'd have a couple other vegetarian or chicken dishes for people like me! would definitely recommend.
