i'm always a sucker for sweets, especially desserts which seem way beyond my capability of producing. crepes can be a finicky art, and with a minor error in ingredient ratios or cooking, it's easy to end up with ones that's more holes than crepe, or with a texture that can be ruinous to the structural integrity of a crepe cake. fukurou's crepes are light, thin, and soft, yielding easily to the cut of a fork and remain upright, which is an incredible feat for this delicate dessert.
i can't lie in saying that the prices are a bit dear. the selection can also be somewhat of a hit-and-miss, as the flavours can be so delicate one can easily mistake them for each other. nonetheless, after having only been a couple of times, i can easily declare my favourites to be thetiramisuand the matcha adzuki. the particularly adventurous should also try the durian bomb; i may not like durian, but i can appreciate the hardly-so-subtle fragrance and flavour that they've incorporated well in the cake.
it's definitely not a bad place for sweets. but, while i can appreciate the artistry behind it, i can't say i'm all that particular to the dessert.
