thefruitshop on greams road - thefruitshop, rather a juice shop that i always admire for the variety and quality of their juices and shakes. i have been to many of their outlets and this is the last one i had ventured. the way the people served here made me to write down the review for this particular outlet.

and one more orange juice with a lil tomato added to it. i don't remember the exact name of it.

their interiors are well designed and it gives a feel of a cafe. it's a good place to spend some time enjoying yourself with some delicious juices in this hot mid-summer. folks, its a must-go place to beat the heat.

this is very good place for fresh fruits and juice.fruitsalad is a must to try here. their veg salad could be little finely chopped so that it is easier to swallow. i would recommend it to anyone.

thefruitshop on greams road is one such place i would love to visit again and again. you just never get tired of their juices. somehow i find their juices, shakes and desserts fresh and unique. been here with friends umpteen number of times. you guys have created a brand image for yourselves. cheers!

walnut shake! slurp. ?? the go to drink when i visit thefruitshop! probably the best place to have juices and milkshakes. having frankie's next to it is even more useful to grab a bit and come here have juice!

i can vouch for the juice and shakes at this place. superbly fresh and incredibly amazing.!! came here with my boss, as he suggested it and we could not stop ordering. their tender coconut pudding is to die for.! midsummer blues and pineapple bonanza we had for juice which was followed byfruitparfait- amazing is the place.! u can't miss this place if you are in chennai.!

my favourite juice shop since my childhood actually one of the place that my family took me often (8-10 years back).. best juice and one of my favourites is jughed spl.. it's a good chill out place for fresh cool drinks... but as the years passed, it had changed.. i miss the oldfruitshop on greams road (the one that used to be years back )

location & parking: located on the greams road, opposite to the apollo hospital, it shouldn’t be any hard to find the outlet. but parking shall be a tough job for four-wheelers during the peak hours considering you have to rest your vehicles just outside the outlet.

ambience: maintained well, the place looked neat and clean. nothing to rave about the ambience.

taste & variety: it’s majorly their beverages that grabs the customers. with huge array of shakes and fresh juices, it becomes difficult to select one. finally settled for mango-banana smoothie and a kiwi based fresh juice - i don’t remember the exact name of the juice. taste-wise bang on; i loved the consistency of the smoothie.

quality & quantity: the portion is perfect for a person and quality wise they were fresh.

service: no major complaints but during rush they tend to be fuzzy and lazy in terms of cleaning up the tables or serving the bill soon.

price: a bill of rs.250 inr for two drinks is definitely on a higher side but yeah it isn’t a kiosk, so for a proper juice shop with neat indoor seating that would be the least to expect.

was on a holiday to chennai and was suggested to go to thefruitshop. and me being very fond of fruits decided to visit the place. i am glad i went dere, it had a huge variety of juices, shakes, desserts. me n my friends had the juice and desserts for dinner and also packed it for our journey back home.
the quality and freshness of the juices were good. presentation also good. they maintain the taste and flavor of the fruits. thefruitcombinations that they have are really good.

musk melon added to thefruitsalat was not ripen one it spoiled thefruitsalad

ordered for two cheese burger but got 2 veg sandwich. i paid for cheese burgers only to get veg sandwich. thefruitsalad was worst with old fruits. it was a shock. never buying from here.

the best place for freshfruitjuices and milkshakes! we visited the original greams road branch after many years, and the place was packed even at 9pm. luckily we got place as a group was leaving. our orders were jughead special, mango banana smoothie andfruitsalad with ice cream. all those are our favorites and staple order every time we visit any branch. fruits are freshly cut here to make the salad, and they maintain that standard. their ice cream based drinks are a must-try! caramel custard is also recommended. price point has gone up a bit over the years, but the quality and service is not compromised. they have seating space upstairs too. since the area is less, it can get a bit noisy. service is still great as usual. parking space for cars is an issue since the outlet is on the main road.fruitshop falls in the list a must-visit juice/shake outlet if you are in chennai.

differentfruitshop branches have different tastes. .... when franchise is given pls ensure the taste is not different under the same brand ....expensive...

i’ve been a customer since 1999, but had moved out of chennai since a few years now. visited today at greams road to order my favfruitsalad. was very disappointed. i loved yourfruitsalad for three reasons: 1. fresh fruits, 2. served in a big bowl 3. finely cut fruits that you get a taste of in a mouthful. you’ve now completely changed it and doing quiet the opposite - serving in a tall glass tumbler, bigger pieces of fruits. fruits were fresh though. i just felt deeply disappointed. if you ever choose to do the same you did back in those days, i’ll come back. else, i have to sadly say that another of my fav long-time joints is written off my list.
