hello ,
here is something you need to know about frat house before visiting it . firstly the ambience here is outstanding with dim yet bright golden lights . it has quite unique seating with lot of variations , there’s are open couches ,
cabin kinda seating , and also bunk seating . there is a smoking zone with a view of greenery . the place is so damn comfortable and lively. there is big bar counter in the centre, with lots of live cocktail and mocktails mixing going on , you should definitely try their coconut based cocktails and mocktails and also thedrinksmade with fresh juices , very good combinations and refreshingdrinksmade by the super talented bartenders . this is a very nice place to chill with a group of friends or even just a couple to have some private time or even families can have a good time at any time of the day .
coming to food , i got to taste their subtle yet registering flavoured food .
~soups :
•roasted pumpkin soup : very mild tasting pumpkin purée, this soups is meant to taste sweet with roasted cubed pumpkin pieces . it was scrumptious and appealing.
👇
~veg starters :
•avacado corn bhel : mashed avocado mixed with pomegranate and topped with lots of sev mixture . this tasted really good .
•patta palak chaat: extremely crispy patta topped with highly flavourful chaat ingredients like meetha, dhahi and pomegranate etc. tasted tangy and mouth watering.
•beet root peanut butter dumplings : grated beet root mixed with herbs and mild masalas made into balls and presented with peanut butter . this one tasted really very different . if you are a vegetarian and has no problem with beetrrot then go for it .
•crispy lotus stem : lotus stem deep fried and mixed with sweet in-house made sauce , sesame seeds . the texture is very crispy . more like chips but with sauce.
👇
~non veg starters :
•gongura fish tikka : (must try )omg! just mind blowing taste, texture and flavour. just go for it without thinking twice . super good and rich in taste wise and looks wise .
•murgh malai meet ball : (must try ) minced mutton mixed with delectable ingredients and made into balls , cooked perfectly until juicy and soft . topped with malai . so so good . this my favourite from here .
•sukka aloo gosht : this has been a very different combination if compared to the items above . it was a fusion of mutton and potato cut in, like a french fries . it is equally delicious and the mutton is so damn soft . what i have noticed here is , any mutton item you order , you will surely love it .
•mutton slider : these are like the mini burgers with mutton patties . served with french fries. really appealing and luscious .
•chicken wings : so damn soft chicken wings mixed with hot in house made flavoured sauce .
•chicken bao: the bao bread is just amazing , so fluffy with the stuffing inside it. chicken , veggies and topped with red cabbage. tasted good .
👇
~dumplings :
•shrimp dumplings : minced shrimp, filling was super duper delicious .
•veg dumplings : equally palatable as the nv dumplings
~main course :
•comfit chicken leg : this dish looks a bit heavy . but it just gets emptied off the plate if there is a big gang and if ordered with a couple of alcoholicdrinks. 2 big chicken legs slow cooked with butter and thime. very very lenient taste . this is served with a variety of the chef made sauce and potato mash .
•mutton ki pasli: this one goes best with any kind of roti and even rice . it’s tasted like a telangana style mutton curry .
👇
~choco lava cake :
true decadence at its best, this rich chocolate cake lava cake was topped with vanilla ice cream .
