frankie’s is awesome - always friendly and helpful staff. very relaxed and casual atmosphere. greatfood- especially the fried chicken burger! will keep coming back.

service was good.foodwas average- the bacon was severely over cooked and was off putting. coffee was bad too. restaurant was very crowed and noisy with lots of kids and crying babies.

i don’t remember how i came across gastropub frankies at forde, but the website menu had such a variety offoodthat i organised a group lunch there one weekend. there is plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating out by the street and in a rear courtyard. orders including drinks are taken and paid for at the bar. letters of the alphabet are provided rather than numbers to place on your table.

thefoodis good although a lillte pricey but they hold a captive market. the owners are great and will stop and have a chat when they can often coming back to you t continue on where you left off. staff can be a little slow at times but otherwise it's nice and casual.
one frustrating thing is the time they close off the coffee machine on the weekend as not everyone is up for an alcoholic drink when out walking the dog at 2:30 in the afternoon. if not for this it would be a 4.5 or a 5 rating.

terrible. probably the worst muesli i've ever eaten. was like glue, and rubber mixed with slop. i had one bite and stopped eating it. i told the waiter thefoodwas awful- she said i will tell the chef. there was no follow up or offer to make it again or. the staff just didn't acknowledge my feedback and let me walk out the door.

terrible breakfast - would not return. we went based on a web recommendation only to be sorely disappointed. thefoodarrived within minutes of ordering, way before the coffee, a foreboding sign. the breakfasts had been assembled from pre cooked ingredients. they were semi cold, limp and tasted terrible. on leaving we saw three 'cooks' in the kitchen so its not like they couldn't produce freshly cooked eggs and bacon...its just lazy. it was awful. wouldn't return. ..ever.

the place to be. frankies is superior to anything that tusmos had going for it.

for a start the coffee andfoodtaste a hell of a lot better. the guys running the place are happy to talk to the customers more than could be said for the previous business owners.

there is a great range offoodto select from although the servings are a bit on the small size. there is also a great range of on tap and bottled beer to keep most drinkers happy as well as a wide variety of wines.

my only issue is they stop doing coffee at about 02:30pm on sunday afternoons, so if you're walking the dog you need to select booze over coffee after that time.

overall this is the place to be and whatever you have you will be impressed

fantastic food, superb service, amazing atmosphere. this new look forde local is outstanding and has come in leaps and bounds since its predecessor. owners joel, mark and ben provide an amazing front of house experience while jesse and the team continue to pump out incrediblefoodfrom the kitchen. the refurb is awesome also - providing a funky pub / restaurant vibe whilst also proving to be unexpectedly educational in relation to australian politics in 1945! and the cocktails rock!

have eaten at frankies several times now. thefoodand service have been excellent and very consistent. the owners are friendly and very focused on their customers.
